“The second floor is in need of washroom overhaul. I have stayed on the first floor before so I know the hotel is good, but the second floor washrooms were gross so now that I know that I might not book on expedia again so that I can make a request for the first floor. The best part of this hotel is the pool which is very well maintained and beautiful.”

“This is an incredibly nice hotel with lots of interesting artifacts on display, an excellent conference room, nice continental breakfast, and very comfortable and spacious rooms. There are no elevators but there are only 2 floors. This may influence your decision whether to stay here if stairs are a problem for you. The staff members are articulate, very friendly and helpful. There is a local college at which many of the staff attend when not working at the hotel. The hotel offers snacks……

“They allow pets, which is fine, but not in the indoor pool! My granddaughter and great grandson were in the pool when the the people came in with the dog.”

“This was the perfect pick for a hometown feel. The property was beautiful inside and out, rooms were clean, the housekeeping staff was excellent and so was the front desk. The restaurant inside the property was an added touch, with fresh homestead breakfast and lunch options that were delicious. The resturant staff was polite and had amazing customer service. The property also has a gift shop that had staples of hometown love. The property was in walking distance of many shops, boutique, ……

“Upholstered furniture was filthy. Tub dirty. No tissues and body wash bottle was empty. Breakfast was poor. Tables in breakfast area dirty”

“Front desk could have cared less about helping you. Morning person didn’t even attempt to help solve a problem for us. We had to wait 30 to get a cart to carry our luggage down because at 6 in the morning none were available. My husband is handicap and unable to carry our bags. She would not even get up from her chair to talk to me when I asked her for help Gentleman working kitchen said he would help me as soon as he completed some work that had to be done. I understand people use the carts……

“The room and experience were great! Online checkin was a bit of challenge bc Expedia could not relay the messages from the hotel to me. A quick call to the hotel got what I needed. The room was super clean, convenient to what I needed and very cute. Would stay again, but likely would book direct.”
