“This cabin is very clean and the communication was excellent. This place would be fine for a weekend stay but we had an extended 3 week stay due to moving. It was a challenge with a tiny fridge, no stove or oven and a small kitchen sink. We were aware of this before booking it but our options were limited. It was bery convenient with our dogs and the neighborhood was great, I just dont feel like this is conducive for an extended stay. If we had to stay in Ketchikan again for a day or 2 we……

“Shangri-La met our needs for a couple days in Juneau. The whole unit is very big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is great, and I loved that it had a washer/dryer. The sitting area is just ok but it could use a chair. Also, it was not made clear in the amenities that it does not have a regular stove and oven. It has a double cooktop you need to get out of a drawer and a single burner cooktop. They do not heat up like a regular stove. They do have a pretty big toaster……

“We had 4 nights at Eagles Watch and our host John, was awesome. Not only a wealth of information, but a great cook who served us daily breakfast along with sharing stories and information about Juneau. The number of eagles who graced us with their daily presence was incredible. A cozy, comfortable, clean place that was the perfect first part of our Alaskan journey. Thank you John for everything!! We hope to be back!!”
