"This is the best spot on Clearwater beach. I had been there a dozen times as a kid when it was all motels, and hesitated coming back. After staying here I certainly will be back as I realized Clearwater has been renovated. One moment you are in their hot tub & pool, and you can easily then just cross the street to take a dip in the ocean. The beach chairs are included. The pier and restaurants are all close by. Hands down the best location with the best pool.
We had stayed 1 night at Hyatt next door and 5 nights at Wyndham since we had arrived earlier than anticipated and Wyndham was sold out. The Hyatts pool was freezing they did not heat it anywhere near as Wyndham did, it was windy since it’s on a higher floor, and had a totally different drunk crowd with no kids. We have a toddler, so glad we got to experience both to not make the mistake of booking an entire week there. Whereas the Wyndham was very kid friendly. Every 2 hours they had a kid friendly pool activity such as painting rocks, chalk art, fruit skewers, etc.
They also have a breakfast buffet for $25. I did try that at both properties Hyatt and Wyndham, that might be the only thing that the Hyatt had them beat on. We split it up and alternated each morning at Hyatt & Wyndham. Only reason being more variety and options. While atmosphere of dining at Wyndham is better! You get a nice beach view if you sit outdoors for breakfast.
Going back here! Only downside is can be pricy, but find a weekday for less"
