Hard Rock Hotel Madrid

"Super comfortable bed with excellent pillows. The sound bar attached to the TV was a great addition (on brand for a hard rock) and I enjoyed the hard rock hints about the hotel Fair amount of noise from the street and the bathroom situation didn’t feel very well thought through Still, good location lovely staff We were here for the Shakira residency and given this hotel is all about the music it would have been fun to have seen a bit more about the hotel to do with her (she’s playing 13 nights and surely many other guests over the last month would have also been here for her)"

"Wonderful stay at the Riu. The staff always ready to help, the breakfast amazing, the room comfortable with an amazing view of Plaza de España and lastly the rooftop magnificent with 360 views of Madrid!"

"Incredibly satisfied with our stay at Urban Hive. Isabella at the front desk was so amazing, so accommodating, helpful, and just a wonderful person. The location was great, a couple blocks from Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, San Miguel market, and other major sites. The room was super clean and well equipped. Our balcony view was beautiful. Did not use the downstairs bar/restaurant but it looked very cool. Would definitely stay again if back in Madrid."

"Hotel was wonderful. Great location, excellent staff, best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. Pro's: -Get the breakfast. Best deal, lots of variety. Fresh fruit, baked goods, eggs, bacon, cold meat, cereal, pancakes, 6 different types of milk (who knew there were that many) coffee, tea, etc... and a nice, spacious dining area. Staff were excellent. Great value! -Excellent location, close to Royal Palace, 20 minute walk to downtown area, 5 minute walk to subway (metro), 5 minute walk to shopping and dining establishments -Charming sitting area just off the lobby if you want to sit and enjoy a beverage -Excellent staff -Rooms were clean and comfortable -Had dinner one night in the dining area. Food was good and reasonably priced. No complaints Cons: -Shower was difficult to understand how it worked but we managed -Only Spanish channels on TV, no Netflix, Youtube or other channels. I like to watch news from home (Canada) on Youtube at the the end of our day to keep up on things. Had to use our phones which was an inconvenience -Could hear other patrons in the hall when we were asleep late at night All in all I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again if in Madrid. We liked it."
