"Throughout our stay one of the elevators was out of service for my floor, some equipment in the gym was broken and the water jug was never filled, the shower was poorly designed so that it literally impossible to not end up with water over most of the floor, and the shower drain lid kept coming off. On the plus side, the food was great and the breakfast spectacular, the front desk staff was super helpful, and the hotel beautifully designed."

"I had read the previous reviews of Travellers and I was little bit skeptical about the place. When we arrived, it was a mind changing experience. The hotel location is perfect and looks amazing. On entry noticed that they are building a new restaurant and it looked nice, even though it was close. Check in was smooth and made a request to extend a check out an extra hour and staff was very helpful and they accommodated the request. The room was spacious and and had all the required amenities. The lighting of the room was good. We loved the hotel and the room. The breakfast was included in our stay and the breakfast was very good. There is a free parking at the hotel. There is a food hall 10 min away from the hotel and it has few nice options. We would definitely recommend people to stay at this hotel. We chose this hotel because we were leaving early in the morning and the hotel shuttle was very convenient. Our flight got delayed and hotel was kind enough to readjust the timings. It’s sad that the shuttles only run till 8am. Wish if they have extended hours. But it’s a 3rd party so hotel has nothing to do with it."

"My stay at Grandi Hotel was excellent. A lot of people checking in and out, however the wait wasn’t too long and the staff were helpful and friendly. Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were cleaned daily upon request and it was quiet on the 5th floor. Bar staff were also helpful and offered great service. Overall highly recommend if you want to stay in that area of Reykjavik."
