"Absolutely beautiful space, it had everything i needed for that weekend. Super close to the WCU campus as i was there visiting my daughter for her birthday. The kitchenette was perfect for cooking. I can't wait to stay there again. It was the perfect little getaway!"

The shower had great water pressure, but the temperature was too hot. It took almost 5 minutes for the water to get hot. Once it was hot, it wouldn't go back to warm or cool. We were told that happens because it is an old building with old pipes. We love staying in old places that have been brought back to life. Old buildings and old pipes have never been an issue. "

"We stayed in this home for our daughter’s move-in weekend at WCU. It’s close to campus and many things in town, but maintains a seclusion that makes you feel equally rested and rejuvenated. We could have sat in the rocking chairs on the porch for hours. The host was extremely responsive and the well-stocked home has everything you need. It was a very comfortable place. Our Boston Terrier enjoyed the pet-friendly stay, too. "
