Salt Spring Island Spa by Lenice Hotels

"This is my second visit to the Sydney Waterfront Inn and Suites. This time we had the city view with a nice veranda to watch the world drift by from our upstairs vantage point. The room and amenities were excellent. The whirl pool tub was so refreshing, what a great feature!! The electric fireplace added some nice ambiance after a long day of seeing the sites. The desk staff and the housekeeping staff are a true asset to the hotel.Close to a bakery, several great restaurants and the awesome seashore it hits all the bells . We'll be back next year for our third visit and hopefully book the ocean side veranda room . I believe the daily rate to be indicative of a five star establishment. Cheers to the staff and owners !! "The pub has been torn down and the rooms, while clean, are nothing special. We had to haul our bag up a long set of stairs, no elevator that we saw. It is close to Steveston which made it a fine place to stay. The bathroom had been remodeled, which made it feel a bit nicer. "

"The breakfast is decent, location is right next to a freeway and the property looks a bit dated. However the pub sounded pretty lively and happening (we didn't go in as we were only staying one night and too tired). "

"Check in was extremely fast and easy. Loved the location, water across the way and Cowichan Bay market. They were in the process of renovating the property but it had no effect on our stay. We booked the King suite, newly renovated, and loved the size and amenities. Full fridge, hot plate, fully supplied kitchen, a living room area with 4 chairs, and small balcony with 2 chairs. I would definitely book there again."
