Serendipity is a 4 bedroom. 3 full bathrooms and 3 half bathroom villa with 2 enclosed outside showers and an outside shower on the rooftop "skydeck". We are located in Portland, Jamaica, and nestled in the backdrop of one of Jamaica’s national treasures “Turtle Bay”. Serendipity is a photographer’s dream. Immerse yourself in the tranquil sounds of the ocean waves splashing across the rock formations and barrier reefs that are a part of Turtle Bay. Take a stroll on the beach and watch the sunrise with that special someone. Watch the waves touch your feet as you walk the white sands collecting sea glass and other treasures from the ocean. Turtle Bay Beach is in our backyard, please don't forget to bring water shoes. Sit in a hammock, on a bench, our sun deck area, the gazebo, the deck overlooking the ocean, the sky deck, our sun tanning area, the lookout, or on one of our many verandas and enjoy the ocean breeze while you read your favorite book. Relax on the front porch and watch the clouds kiss the top of the John Crow mountain while you enjoy some relaxing music. Gather with friends or loved ones to enjoy a bonfire and watch the colors of the flames dance across the waves. Whatever your mood, Serendipity is the place to be.
The villa has two sections. From the gate to the right of the garage is the guests section, and immediately above the garage is the owner's private residence. The owner's private residence is separate from the renal space and is not open to our guests. while it is possible the owners are never there during a rental
The Sky Deck is located above the owner's quarters and is a shared space. Guess access the stairway to the Sky Deck through the garage. Towards the front far side of the garage, there is an access door that leads to the roof. On the Sky Deck, there are chairs, small tables, a bathroom, and an outdoor shower. Guests are allowed to use the verandas to the front and back of the owner's quarters.
Take a stroll on the grounds and enjoy the view of our selection of rear exotic flowers, numerous palm trees and coconut trees, and countless variety of fruit trees that have been tastefully placed on the grounds that offer that feeling of Zen.
Serendipity is large enough to accommodate a large gathering while providing that cozy feel for that intimate moment. With that in mind, please update your reservation to include the correct number of guests in your party. We are your one-stop vacation and event destination. At Serendipity, for an additional charge, we offer the following services, airport transfers, Chef services (you provide your food) meals (we provide the food), massages, yoga (groups only), and transportation to all your favorite attractions.
