Unfortunate problem with Sargasso Seaweed. Recommend Jemma’s cafe.






Breakfast was awful. Waitress didn't know what over easy was. Room linens felt wet. Husband saw a large rat on walkway..

First of all. When we go there, the lady said room was not available and she was going to give to give me my money back. She specifically said not to cancel. ( now I know she did not want it to reflect on her) I am still waiting on my money. ( I am back home). The place was nothing like it was advertised ...

Positives - The staff was very friendly and helpful The free breakfast- it shocked us all, as both the quantity and quality exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, adequate and clean. Clean villa with all the kitchenware to make yourself a nice meal to eat on the veranda. Friendly staff, too.

We had a good stay at Sunset Reef Villa. The kids enjoyed the pool and there were nice beaches nearby aw well.

The best thing at Speyside is Blue Waters Inn. Gemma's treehouse restaurant is worth a visit for lunch or early dinner. Check opening times.
Speyside village is very undeveloped and might not appeal to those who want tourist facilities.
