Annual golf trip

Pictures don’t do it justice!
Our stay at this incredible home was amazing! The pictures don’t communicate just how spacious, beautiful, and accommodating it is. We had a group of 14 adults + a baby and we were all able to fit comfortably without feeling cramped or constantly on top of each other. Even the main dining room table fit us all at one time which was a feat! Jana was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole booking process and stay. The house itself was close to the grocery stores, lakes, bike trails and more, though it was also tucked back into the wood for a private escape from neighbors and people. We would highly recommend this place for anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! House was awesome and was ample room for our family! We absolutely loved the chef’s kitchen and the deck area! This is where we hung out the most! The 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were great so everyone could have some privacy! All in all a 10+!

Terrific for Family Vacation
We had such a terrific time at this beautiful home. There was so much space, everyone had comfortable bedrooms, the mattresses we super comfy! There were a lot of gathering spaces, we utilized the office for those of us who had work or college classes to keep up with. We loved the garage play area too! And the toy closet was a bonus for our little one. Thank you Jana for a lovely week!

Excellent place for a group
This home is truly lovely. It has many amenities, a lot of spaces for relaxing, dining and activities, and there were plenty of bedrooms and sleeping options for our two families. We were quite comfortable. We had most of our meals outside on the enormous covered deck where we could watch the hummingbirds and wildlife (hawks, great blue herons, fawns, bunnies), and it was spacious enough for our group of 12. Huge thanks to our hosts!

The property was easy to find. The driveway was a little muddy, but its spring in Minnesota, so no big deal. The house though! Amazing, Spacious, Clean, Lots of beds and bedrooms! Great Kitchen, Very Large Table(s) for Eating, Playing Games and Cards, etc. If you're looking for a multi-bedroom with plenty of room for lots of people, this is the place. Heated floors in the big garage with ping pong and fooseball! We had a great time! Thanks Jana!!!

Great, well-stocked property for a large, multi-age group. We included a crawling 8 month old so appreciated how clean the property was. We were having a family reunion so could invite the rest of the famiily and easily seat and cook for 20 people for an evening of tacos.

Fantastic place to enjoy a stay!
This house and property has 100% earned its five star review! We brought four generations of our family together there this past week, and it was the perfect combination of spaces, from the awesome deck (where there was always a group of us talking, eating, or playing games), to the multiple areas to gather in the house in small groups or as one large group, to the spacious bedrooms which also do a wonderful job of containing noise (if you have any early-to-bed or late sleepers, as our group did!). The outside of the house is very private and scenic, too, which we enjoyed, along with the garage that added another great space, especially for the kids in our group! Jana, the owner, was also wonderfully responsive and the house is furnished with all the essentials and more!

Yearly three generation vacation
Great host and a wonderful place to stay. We could not think of a single thing that wasn't provided from the kitchen utensils to the spices in the cupboards, all the towels, extra beds and bedding, plus all the very homey touches throughout the house. The huge garage with so much room for gathering and games. The Spicer/New London area has bike/walking trails, golfing, many lakes, and just a lot of entertainment options. One of the best places we have been.

Great location for family gathering
We had a large group getting together from around the country and this location was just what we were looking for. There were comfortable rooms for everyone, each couple had a queen bed, and there were multiple areas to gather. I would highly recommend this location for a large group of our size.

Beautiful, roomy house surrounded by woods.
Well-equipped and beautifully decorated house in a beautiful, wooded setting (but not quite within walking distance of lake). Note that you will probably not want to count on having comfortable, private sleeping arrangements for more than 12 people, in the six bedrooms. The "loft" is a small space with a couch outside of the master bedroom, with no privacy. The livingroom has a hide-a-bed, but no privacy. There are two computer work areas for people who have a work-cation on their computers -- a large office and a small one.

Fully Loaded House
Not enough can be said about our experience at this wonderful property. We had 7 adults and 10 children and leisure time and sleeping arrangements were near perfect. It is a fully loaded house with all the expected amenities and much more. The kitchen had any utensil or appliance we needed, the games and space in garage were great to use and Jana provided cots, an air mattress and 2 twin mattresses. It is by far the best house we have stayed in the last 5 years of renting from VRBO especially for our group size. Jana was easy to work with and willing to answer any questions we had. The only downside was it is not directly on the lake and we had to plan more for the kids then when we do stay on a lake. But lakes are close by and easily accessible.

Jana was awesome and her home is amazing! We couldn't see any neighbors while in the house or yard, it is so private. I have never stayed at a home with a kitchen that is not only outfitted so well, but even has large cooking and serving dishes. The deck on the back of the house is covered by a roof and also has a ceiling fan. We were able to enjoy being outside despite ridiculously high temperatures. We had a wonderful time!

The family LOVED the property. Spacious ... all kinds of nooks and grannies for people who wanted to read or craft or play video games or board games or just be altogether. Huge yard for outdoor activities. The kitchen and pantry accommodated our family of 16 very well. And the ping pong table in the garage was a huge hit too! We would recommend this location to any group or family. Jana was excellent to work with from my first inquiry through our last day there.

Our second time at this property was another great time. Plenty of room for the whole family and the kids love the garage/rec room. It's so nice to have a place to play inside when it rains. Jana is super to work with. Beautiful house, can't wait to come again.

This house was beyond gorgeous! Very spacious. Homeowner was wonderful to work with. I’ve rented many others and none have been stocked the way this one was. I even brought some dishes I would be needing and didn’t even need them. They had everything we needed.

Beautiful Spacious Retreat
Beautiful, spacious, well-maintained property in the woods between Spicer and New London. This was one of the best well-stocked houses at which I've stayed. Large bedrooms and living areas, lots of cleaning supplies and other items needed for a relaxing stay. Jana, the owner, communicated with us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

This turned out to be the perfect place for me and my family members to stay while in the area for my brother’s wedding! Jana was a fantastic host, with great communication. The house is beautiful, filled with amenities, with plenty of room for everyone to feel like that had their own space as well as places to gather. Only wish winter hadn’t decided to set in so early so we could have spent some more time exploring what the area had to offer, but sitting next to the fireplace with the view through the big picture windows of snow falling was certainly one of the highlights!

Gorgeous kitchen with all the gathering spaces radiating out from the kitchen. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Lots of space for big groups. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and rec area in the garage. I enjoyed the most deluxe master bath I have ever stayed in. The views of the woods from all over the house in full fall color were stunning along with the cute season decorations. Everyone was impressed by the house and setting. We enjoyed our stayed.

Great family vacation during the pandemic
My family had a wonderful time at Jana's house! My 3 kids are adults now and we all needed to get away from our respective homes to relax. This was the perfect place to do that! We had space to ourselves if needed but we usually hung out together in the family room. Cooking together was wonderful in the beautiful kitchen! And we enjoyed eating outside on the deck. We had a great time and were sorry to leave!

This is a beautiful house with lots of space to spread out. There are six very spacious bedrooms. Plenty of gathering spots in the house: large dining room, big family room, big play area in the garage, kitchen is huge and stocked with every accessory you might need. The garage was great to escape to when the little ones were sleeping, stocked with a ping pong table and foosball, great fun for the adults!!! Jana was easy to reach for questions and very good to deal with. Thank you!

Home away from home
Our group of 11 women had a wonderful, luxurious retreat weekend at Jana's house! We had plenty of space to be together, and so many little quiet spaces to spend some time alone. This house had everything we needed. We loved feeling like we were tucked away in the woods, and we even got see to some deer in the yard! Fantastic
This place is beautiful, well equipped, private, clean, and a wonderful retreat site. My siblings and I stay here for a week each year for a fishing vacation. We spend lots of time on the back deck laughing and sharing stories. And the place is big enough to find time alone when you need it. Jana is very responsive and kind. My brothers especially like the surround sound throughout the house, as well as the large front area to park the boats.

This is the second time we have stayed in Jana's beautiful house. It is an ideal place for our family! Men out on the covered back deck playing cards, girls in the sun room playing with dolls, a game of corn hole on the front lawn, boys riding bikes!! Plenty of bedroom space for all of us too! The Kitchen has everything you need!!! Dishes, crockpots, pans, grill, refrigerators, and plenty of space to put all the stuff you bring to feed the gang. Our favorite things to do in the area are the biking and walking trail, the lake, go-carts and mini golf, DQ in town Most of all we just enjoyed the time and space we had to get together with our family and reconnected. A big thank you to Jana for always being so gracious and accommodating. We all love her!

Relaxing, comfortable home
We had 11 adults and 4 children (ages 2, 4, 6 8). This home was clean and comfortable, and with it having so much space, it allowed us to spread out and visit one on one or get together as a group. The kids loved playing in the huge garage and outside in the front yard/driveway area. With the house sitting far off the road at the end of a gravel lane and surrounded by woods and a pond, nature viewing was abundant....a doe and two fawns, a plethora of frogs, owls, and ducks/ducklings. This property was a great place to tune out the world, visit with family and relax. Jana, the property owner, was very helpful and quick to respond to questions and concerns.
