“Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed.”

Great breakfast and we tried the lunch here last day, also superb. But the by far best thing was the staff. We were made to feel super-welcome and got great recommendations for dinners, winetasting and trekking. “Impossible for hotels.com or for you to get in touch with the property prior to or during your trip so hope you arrive in their checkin window or it's a nervous bust to figure out what you're going to do with your bags. For that reason I don't think it's worth the hassle because I was very stressed about this and hotels.com staff also couldnt' connect with them at all. Once/if you check in though the place is amazing and the cleaning people are incredibly nice. Property is very secure and safe.”
