"We loved this hotel. The facility is beautifully restored and the rooms are spacious, graciously appointed and have modern baths. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sylvia gave us a wonderful tour of the entire palace and provided historically accurate details around the town and the palace. Christina was particularly helpful as we had a medical emergency and she went above and beyond to help us. Overall I would highly recommend stopping here on your trip through Tuscany and Umbria. "

"Our hosts, Fabrizio and Anna, were terrific! After she showed us around, she brought us a cheese, meat, fruit, beer, and water snack! Very hospitable even with our language deficiency! "We had a great stay in one of the apartments. The atmosphere felt genuine and the personnel was very friendly. Breakfast (Italian style) was served at the premises, for lunch/dinner a car is needed to reach most restaurants in the area. Enjoyed a wine tasting with some of their self-produced wines. "The property advertised two bedrooms, I wasn't expecting the bedroom to be with the kitchen, so I was disappointed with that. This may have been an oversight with me, but I didn't realize I needed to bring my own linens - luckily there were some available to purchase for use. Otherwise it was good, pool was great, location near lake was awesome, the events they had were fun."
