"This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."

"The inside of the property was great. Was very disappointed that both decks and the front entryway had obviously not been cleaned for sometime. Cobwebs, dust, and leaves made all of these areas very unattractive. It’s logical to assume that spending time on your decks would be one of the reasons people would choose this condo, and they had not been cleaned for a long time."

The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. "Loved the location of the property and the amount of space in the home. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of recreation room throughout. The downstairs bedroom was a bit musty It had dehumidifier and fan but it was a somewhat noisy. There were sufficient start up supplies for all our needs. Perfect for our family and will definitely want to return! Will know to bring some blow up rafts for the river next time."

"Very clean, cute and cozy. Easy check-in and checkout. Easy to access any information needed. Mountain road getting to the cabin has multiple switch backs so take your time. Enjoyed having close access to the lake as well as the kayaks. Hot tub is lovely on the back deck. Only small annoyance was there was construction going on next door, some of the trucks going by sounded like tanks. Otherwise, wonderful place….would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others."
