“I stayed here for 1 night. It was my first time in a hostel and I was highly impressed. It’s very clean, well kept and safe (24hr concierge and locks on the entrance to building and your room). They have different activities everyday to socialize with other travellers. I will definitely will be staying here again.”

“Otoya1907 is the perfect place to stay to see historic San Jose. It is conveniently located, charming, and comfortable. The staff was friendly helpful, and welcoming. He patiently taught me the door codes and keys. The kitchen area is a bonus. The Cafe Otoya is very nice.”

“This was a great choice for me and my family. We had a great stay. The staff was nice but they could have been more warm and friendly. The rooms themselves were clean and maintained well. I like that it was like an apartment (it had a fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, and plates/cups). The breakfast was good. The location was great for us because we were able to walk to the mall that's nearby and it was a short drive to downtown San Jose.”

“Super high ceilings. Amazing common lounge areas on each floor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. The kitchenette in the suite is lacking amenities (just a microwave, stovetop, and mini fridge). No dishware, glasses, or utensils. Tight and chaotic parking lot. Very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend if you're in this part of town. ”
