“Fifth floor walk up. 95 steps with luggage, fortunately we had little. Basically no windows, a small window opening to an air well full of pigeons. No alarm needed as the pigeons are up at dawn and coo loudly and nonstop for a couple hours. No shower door so showering floods the bathroom which is very dark. A single light about head height shines from the right. Left side of face in deep shadow so shaving, applying sunscreen or makeup is a challenge. It’s the only mirror in the unit. Contrary……

“We had a wonderful short stay at this lovely and quaint hotel. The location was on point, so close to everything. The staff were so helpful, especially Mario and Ivan. “I travel a lot and this was as good as it gets. We had to actually leave the lousy, dangerous apartment we were at in Dubrovnik and getting here was a treat. The staff took care of the luggage, the breakfast was great as was the dinners we had there. The staff was smart, spoke great english and thoughtful. Also they had blankets as well as duvets - and the air conditioning worked well. The location was right on the edge of old town - we park in a lot about 150 yards away and just "rolled"……
