The entrance was a bit rough and the first set of stairs were dirty but this property shares the building. The floor with the rooms is very secure and renovated. "My husband & I visited Split with our two children ages 6 & 9. We stayed for 2 nights and Hotel Kastel had everything we needed. It had a beautiful view from outside the bedroom windows, close distance to everything you could need in Split! If you have a car, the parking offered off-site is quite a ways away from the hotel, but that was told to use in advance. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Kastel!! "
