“The rental was in the perfect location for the reason we were in the area. We stayed an extra day to visit the NP. Had dinner at a local restaurant and on our way of town visit the Presidential Museum. Communications was timely with Host. Ever in the area again we would rent again.”

“Fantastic place! Clean, charming, well done basement apartment that is very close to town and includes a clutch parking spot! I didn't realize when I booked that there wasn't laundry, but we found a great laundomat less than a mile down the road. We also made use of the sauna and row machine every day, which was such an awesome bonus!”

“This is a great place to stay if you are looking to spend some time hiking in the area. The house was very clean and our kids loved the outdoor area. Location is great. Highly recommended.”

“Charming and well-designed English basement apartment in a perfect central location. It’s in walking distance to the shops and restaurants in charming downtown Staunton. It’s worth pointing out that all descriptions on short-term rental apps says more or less what this one does. This one actually is as described. The furniture is even in good shape! “Beautiful place, surrounded by animals, cozy and very clean cabin. We had the nicest host and we are definetly coming back again! Thank you so much for a lovely stay! Marcel and Sona”

“Very nice, easy check in. Room air conditioners on 2nd floor Def helped a lot. This house was built in 1875, just fyi. Very clean, nice towels and easy to use. Thank you!”

“The suite was beautiful and the location couldn’t have been more centrally located. Perfect for a visit to Blackfriars Playhouse.”

“Great location, especially if you want to be able to walk to downtown area. Quiet location other than fire engines leaving from station close by. Beautiful church bells on the hour playing in the background. Easy parking.”

“Liked the fresh cut Lilac bouquet, size of kitchen, and TOTO washlet in bathroom.”

“This was a great stay for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the location was ideal, especially for the price! The AC is new and works great in the central rooms but does have a little trouble cooling the bedrooms simply because of the age of the house. Other than a few very loud vehicles that drive past, it was surprisingly quiet for the location. It was cool to stay somewhere with so much history!”
