    This house was in an absolutely perfect location for our weekend. You feel like you are in the country, but minutes away from shopping, restaurants, or anything you might need. We thoroughly enjoyed this property. We would stay here again.

    Route 66 Trip

    This house was wonderful. It was well located, very clean, well stocked, quiet and safe. Perfect location for a day trip to Branson and a trip down Route 66. The owners were very courteous and very prompt with their communication. We will definitely stay there again sometime!

    Relaxing Weekend

    This place is great. Nice and quiet but close to everything you need. Our favorite thing was the porch. Very relaxing, perfect place to have your morning coffee as well as an evening cocktail as you wind down from your day! We were in town for a wedding and very happy we found this place to hang out and relax before the big event.

    So Special!

    Great location, charming house, and the hosts have thought of everything. If that weren’t enough, the porch was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and other beverages in the evening. Getting to watch Gracie and Tarzan (the mule and pony) from a distance and squirrels and deer up close made the porch even that much better.

    Great home in Springfield

    Great older home with the right mix of antiques and new conveniences and comfort. We have stayed in a lot of vrbo homes in a lot of states and this owner stands out with the best package of amenities that we have seen. Communication was always quick and pleasant. Highly recommend

    Clean. Plenty of pillows, towels etc. loved watching the donkey and little horse in the mornings while I was drinking coffee on the porch. Beautiful inside. Love the old decor. Great communication. Plenty of room for my family. Definitely would come back!

    Great Galloway House

    The house was set up very nicely. My wife loved the decorations. We spent time sitting on the covered deck talking. Darren and Deborah were very attentive, checking in on arrival and on check out day. The house had fun snacks and cookies on our arrival. Tarzan the donkey greeted us each morning. We will definitely be staying there again.

    Best Place they have ever stayed

    I always get a project summary from the crew when they return to our HQ's. Our crew travels all over the country a lot. They've stayed in some nice places, and some not so nice places. Today, for the first time, they mentioned not only how cozy and comfortable the places was, but they loved the location and mentioned how incredibly nice and accommodating the hosts were. We will highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Springfield area.

    Great weekend conference in Springfield

    We came to town for a conference from Thursday to Sunday. The house was perfect for us! It was clean and inviting. We appreciated all of the attention that has been paid to decorating with interesting items throughout the house. Communication and check-in were smooth, and the hosts ensured we had everything we needed. The kitchen was small, as pictured in the listing, but it is also very functional and met our needs well. There are several restaurants, grocery stores, and breweries nearby. If we need a place to stay in Springfield again, we'll be back!

    Last minute trip with family

    We needed to make a last minute trip with family (all adults) and this was the PERFECT location and home for us. All four bedrooms are spacious (especially the master bedroom on the lower level) and the extra touches with the thoughtful, historical decor was AMAZING. Add in Gracie and Tarzan in the backyard (the mini-pony and donkey), the quiet neighborhood, the walking trail across the street and ample porch seating! The owners were quick to respond to any questions both on the app and through text and even offered to salt the driveway very early in the morning and help in any way when bad weather was impending for our trip back to the airport. Coffee and extras were plentiful and the cleanliness was TOP NOTCH. All beds were extremely comfortable as well. This is an EXCEPTIONAL find!!!

    Quiet, Cozy, and Comfortable

    My Co-Worker and I had a long work trip and the house was so cozy and we were able to work late into the night with no distractions like we would normally have at a hotel. I really loved the aesthetic of the home as well. We will be back in the future and have also considered bringing our families here for our next non-work visit to Springfield.
