"Arriving at Trail’s End is such a treat. The little cottage is nestled in at the end of the drive with beautiful rhododendron and rocks and a little creek on site. The back bedroom is a cozy cabin-like room with a very comfortable bed. The trails were fun to explore. "This mountain cabin features wrap around decks that are nestled in rhododendron and offer some privacy. It is perfectly situated for a relaxing Banner Elk town visit, a Beech Mt. adventure, and treks into Boone. We enjoyed the games and snacks provided by the host. The house offered everything we were looking for. And the host was very proactively available. "

"The cabin is so private with multiple spots around the cabin to stay out and enjoy the view. The cabin is very well decorated to fit the mountain area. Kitchen is well-stocked. Many towels are provided. We loved everything about this place. The owner is kind and very responsive! He is a very gracious host. Part of the driveway is steep but it is not a major concern at all.
