「There was no ceiling in the hallway, and was dark and smelled like mold. Rooms were very dated, but clean. Definitely checked for bedbugs, I think it was ok. Hopefully. There was a strange mechanical noise outside my room that sounded like a viking war bugle. And that was worse than the throng of drunks outside my window from the bar. Thankfully I had earplugs with me, managed to sleep ok, but I slept with my clothes on.」
