St. Augustine Historic Hotel

"Perfect "

"Great hotel in downtown. Room is compact, but cozy. Trolly picks you up out front. Walkable to shops, restaurants and points of interest. "

"I loved the place but a couple things stuck out, One is the gap between the bottom of doors connecting the room next door, you can hear your neighbors like they are in your room with you. Two is you can tell the bar is short staffed and struggling. "

"Parking fee of 15 dollars is ridiculous. Also upon checking in on Saturday the front desk clerk was being chewed out by someones wife for fooling around with their husband. It was alittle uncomfortable standing there while this was taking place."

"Internet was mostly ok but we had a bad thunder storm. I forgot my slippers so picked up a lot of black off the tiles. Bed was clean and comfy. Enough towels for my long hair! Plenty of hot water. Close to things we wanted to see. There was a beautiful looking pool but we were too tired to use it. "

"Great clean property close to the beach. Decent stop for one night. "

"The staff were great. The bed on the other hand was terrible. A 4 inch matress on a plywood base..truly. the worst bed ever. "

"There were no drawers to put our clothes. The shower needed scrubbing and the drain needs Drano. The metal barrier on the sides of the bed frequently made noise. The front staff were very polite and friendly. The Trolley stop at the motel is very convenient. The breakfast had variety of items. "
