I loved how comfy the bunk beds were, coffee coins left for us came in handy and were much appreciated. Very clean, Markus greeted us and was so friendly, have us lot of tips.

Die Unterkunft war perfekt - ich konnte einfach selbst einchecken, als ich mit meiner Arbeit fertig war und musste nicht die Uhr im Blick behalten oder nochmals schreiben, wann ich komme. Sie war super sauber und es gab alles, was ich brauchte - sogar Shampoo und Duschgel :-) Nochmal vielen, vielen lieben Dank für das "Goodie" Kaffee - das hat meinen Morgen gerettet! Es gib auch die Möglichkeit, Wäsche zu waschen, was ich super finde - ideal für Reisen mit möglichst wenig Gepäck wie auf dem Motorrad oder Fahrrad. Es war alles sehr sauber und sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und die Möglichkeit, die Teeküche zu nutzen spart Geld. Ich würde sofort wiederkommen und wenn ich Gäste unterbringen müsste, das Yellow Inn wählen. Auch zum Arbeiten wäre in den Zimmern alles vorhanden. Es gibt genug Duschen und Toiletten, die super sauber sind, auch wenn sie zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung sind. Auch für Gruppen könnte ich mir die Unterkunft sehr gut vorstellen dank der Gemeinschaftsräume - also besucht Markus und sein tolles Team auf jeden Fall!

It was a great stay! I loved the laundry on site and kitchen access. I didn’t realize right away that the check in for parking was separate from checking in for the hotel. So we arrived and weren’t able to park right away. But we called the host, and he was able to help us get a parking space.

The Inn was very clean and the shared bathroom facilities were cleaned regularly. The host Markus is very friendly and helpful, he makes it his priority to ensure you have a great stay.

Ich war für eine zweitägige Weiterbildung in St. Gallen und das Yellow Inn hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Die Sanitäranlagen und das Zimmer waren sehr sauber, und die Lage war trotz der Nähe zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln angenehm ruhig. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Im Haus (Eingang/Küche) lag ein etwas seltsamer Geruch, der sich aber zum Glück nicht in den Zimmern bemerkbar machte. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und zweckmässig, für Aufenthalte, bei denen man nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbringt, jedoch mehr als ausreichend. Praktisch war der Kühlschrank im Zimmer, um das Frühstück für den nächsten Tag aufzubewahren. Hier wäre es hilfreich gewesen, wenn er bereits an den Strom angeschlossen und einsatzbereit gewesen wäre. Aus ökologischer Sicht ist es aber nachvollziehbar, dass er nur bei Bedarf eingesteckt wird.

I didn't realize this is a hostle. The bed for two people is a double, a bit small. The public bathrooms are clean. The most disappointment is the communication with the host, and Expedia could not help. The host insisted to communicate with me in German and said that I can use Expedia to translate, which was impossible for me. I asked for parking, the host send me something looked like an website address and of course I couldn't go to the site. After many attempts, finally got it, but again, that is all in German. Since I arrived at the YellowInn, took over an hour to figure how to park my car. If you do not speak or understand any German, DO NOT SYAY THERE.

Simple, cozy and affordable. The inn is a 15-min walk to marktplatz st. gallen or 5min on the bus. There’s a bus stop right outside of the inn.
