Great place for Family and Friends!

Truly an amazing location with great amenities. Red Rock always does a great job with support and communication. This is our second rental with them and we’re already planning the next one. Would recommend to anyone looking for a base for family adventures in St. George.

Desert Color Resort

The neighborhood seemed like a very safe and family oriented place. Although you could say that about a lot of place in St. George. This place fit our family of 4 adults and a child very comfortably with a lot of room to spare. We couldn’t enjoy the lagoon as much as we would’ve liked but it was nice when we could.

Clean, great amenities, very thin walls…

House was very clean, comfortable with many amenities offered (unfortunately it was cold and rainy the whole time so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool, pickleball courts, or lagoon/beach areas). There was plenty of room for my family of 7, but I did feel very separated by all of the rooms on different floors/levels (with lots of skinny steep stairs). Beds were very comfortable, with plenty of dishes, linens, and toiletries, but the walls were very thin and we could hear everything from the other families in the condos on both sides of us (including their conversations and snoring). Great area with lots of growth and potential. Would definitely stay here again (and just hope the other families aren’t as loud).

St George Family Trip

Stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving with our family of 5 and dogs. Part of the reason we selected this property was because it was “pet friendly.” The unit was well furnished. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had lots of pots, pans, and gadgets so we could cook meals in the unit. Our three teens had plenty of space to spread out, and we enjoyed watching movies in the upstairs room. It was also located close to the community hot tub, so we enjoyed using that every day. The bedrooms were clean and nice, but I don’t think the couch or seats in the living room had been washed, maybe ever. We got one of the seats a little dirty in a spot (mud from our bike ride to n our pants) and so I washed it using a dish towel and some dish soap, and it looked like I had bleached the chair, even though it was just cleaner in that spot. We also smelled a very foul smell coming from one of the cabinets. As we were cleaning up to go my curiosity got the best of me and I opened the waffle maker—big mistake. Looked like someone had burned a waffle in there months ago, and it was covered in mold. Also, just be aware that this property shares walls on each side with neighbors We were spiked the first couple of nights because no one was there, but after that one of our neighbors’ kids were out of control at all hours of the night, yelling, laughing, running up and down the stairs. So be sure to bring ear plugs in case you have rude/loud neighbors, because you’ll hear everything.

Fun family getaway

We love the Desert Color resort. The swimming pool is so fun, but we especially love the lagoon. My kids had a great time on the paddle boards and kayaks.
