“The hotel was totally unique. Our room was excellent with all the mod cons one would expect to see in a hotel room. The communal areas were very inviting. The breakfast was very good offering a bit of everything. All the staff we had dealings with were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is situated in a prime position right by the cathedral. The castle, museum, shopping and restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? “ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”
