Quiet wooded retreat with a wonderful view of the Mackinac Bridge!

Awesome up North venue

We came back this year, and had a fabulous experience again! We spent time visiting the island for bike riding and touring both St. Ignace and Mackinac!

Great view of the bridge!

Plenty of space, comfortable, and very clean. Lots of kitchen equipment for all your needs. Close to everything but feels secluded and in nature. Lovely place.

Best kept secret in St Ignace

This cozy guest house has everything you need to enjoy Northern MI. We loved it! The view of the Bridge, close to the water, fire pit, comfortable beds and close to the Sheplers’ ferry. We will definitely be back. Our host, Susan, was great :)

Fantastic property

The owner thought of EVERYTHING! This property was Beautiful- great home, landscaping and views - all were AMAZING! The house had anything you needed to have a good time - games , grill, and lake front seating with fire pit. The home was stocked with a lot of extras - which were very appreciated!! Highly recommend her guest house!!

UP getaway house

Lovely property well taken care of felt like home. Loved the location and access to ferry to mackinaw island and day drive to local UP must see spots and to Petoskey as well. Beautiful area highly recommend for families that are not interested in camping and want the amenities of a house and property for kids. Would rent again

Amazing Cabin/Guest House

We had a great time on this property! From the master bedroom upstairs (and the connected deck) you have a view through to the lake. And you can walk down to the shoreline for a dramatic expansive view. Susan is an amazing host! The cabin was very well-appointed. We would definitely rent here anytime we are coming to this area.

Relaxing time in the UP

What a great experience! Very thoughtful in the details to make sure your stay is perfect. Cabin had everything we needed, exactly as listed. Beautiful landscaping, responsive host, great location. 2nd Stay Here - Highly Recommend!

This property /house provides the perfect 'up north' getaway. We stayed here 3 yrs ago for a week, and then just two nights recently, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Very clean, comfortable, with all of the amenities you could want. My favorite is sitting out on the balcony off of the bedroom drinking coffee and listening to the sounds of nature and the waters of Lake Huron. I hope we can come back again in the future.

Great property with amazing views

This place was amazing. We took advantage of the bonfire pit, the grill and the amazing beach area. There were six of us, my partner and two other couples. Everyone had an amazing time and loved the house and what it had to offer. We even chatted with the owner for a bit when we arrived and she was super nice. We may be back on 2025 for the next Mini on the Mack parade!

Relaxing visit!

Home was very clean and in a secluded/quiet area with great view of lake and bridge. Bedrooms were large and kitchen well stocked with dishes/pots/glasses. Did not have a/c but did not need. Enjoyed the cool breeze and the fire pit by the lake. Central location to explore further north in the Upper Peninsula.

Wonderful Home

Great place, very clean, well maintained and equipped with all you need to relax! Our decision was a good one, for sure, as we also had a Labrador travel partner. Decided to cook breakfast and dinner ourselves, kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. The Weber grill, fire pit and patio were very comfortable to use & enjoy. If I had one complaint, the access to the lake and view were in the rear of the owners property. Although a short walk, we felt awkward walking through their property.

Perfect vacation home in the UP

The house is clean, spacious and charming, not many vacation houses have king size bed and this one has two king beds upstairs. The location is perfect, just some steps down and you can see Mackinac Bridge. The first time I saw the bridge at night I was in awe! On Friday night from the balcony you can watch the fireworks in Mackinaw city. The back is a wooded area, my dogs and myself really enjoy it. The kitchen is equipped with high end appliances and pots and pans and many more! Susan is very professional and responsive, thank you very much for a very relaxed and peaceful vacation and I hope to come back one day.

Lake Huron Rental

The guest house has 3 spacious bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The home is across the driveway from the main home and has a view of the lake from the decks off the upstairs bedrooms. It is about 100 yards to the shoreline. The lake is on the other side of the owner's personal home so the view is obstructed from the first floor of the rental. The home doesn't have air conditioning but it did have plenty of fans that kept us comfortable. The rental was clean and consumables (toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, etc) were provided by the owner which was very appreciated. There is one TV in the living room. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the rental but we did wish there was more privacy.

No view like we expected

I didn’t realize that this house was behind another house that actually had a view of the lake. It should have shown it in the pictures. You had to walk pasted their house to get to the water. I wish it would have been outside our door instead. And just a warning there isn’t air in this house. They did provide fans but it was still uncomfortable upstairs. Overall a nice place but disappointed without the view.

Cute St Ignace Guest House

Very clean, very well-stocked home with a cozy-cabin sort of feel to it. There is really nothing missing that you can think of, as the host has supplied nearly everything for her guests. Susan’s communication is great and I’m sure if there had been an issue (there was not!), she would have helped immediately!The only thing that I’d mention would be a lac of AC, and with Canada wildfire smoke blowing in during our stay, we had to close the windows and not take advantage of a nice breeze. The interior of the house got pretty warm because of this. (Obviously, wildfires in Canada is no fault of the host)When you get to the beach, the view of the Mackinac Bridge is really amazing. The beach is accessed via a path and id say about 50 yards or so. The little deck area with chairs and fire pit is super nice down there, and the beach itself is lovelyAll in all, a great stay at a very nice place. Recommend when in the area!

We love this property; it has everything you need for a fantastic getaway! The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils / cookware, soft fresh towels, beautiful views of the bridge, peace & quiet! We have stayed here previously and it never disappoints. One of our favorite places to stay when we head up north.
