"Friendly checkin and breakfast service. For a lodge/motel, this is top notch. Very comfortable beds, exceptional linen, clean rooms. The retro room was awesome with the old style bell alarm, dial phone, retro microwave and fridge. Multiple seating options. There was an outdoor grassy area and an area to grill. Dollar General in just next door. We ate at Saphire (I think that was the name): good food and a full bar."

"Amazing stay! From sitting in the front swing reading and watching the deer, to sitting by the cozy fire it was perfect. Nice walk to meals at the Molly Butler lodge and Rendevous diner along the easily accessible town pathway. Watching the elk come out into the willows at dusk was awesome. We were able to explore several local hiking trails through the pines and aspens while enjoying mountain streams, meadows and local reservoirs. This was the perfect weekend getaway!"

"The Hen House was an absolute amazing place. We loved our stay! The kids had a blast playing all of the games in the garage and enjoyed spending time outside running around. We had a herd of elk almost every morning and evening right outside the kitchen window which everyone loved. Plenty of room for our group with comfortable beds and accommodations. Highly recommend renting this house! "
