Fabulous position overlooking St Julian's bay and the marina and from the outside, the hotel looks very classy. Inside however is a different story. The hotel is let down by the dull and basic furnishings, the ongoing issues with the lifts (only one decent lift working) and one in a state of disrepair and blocked off. The working one was very slow and I'd have hate to be using them in high season. The staff lacked basic communication skills and looked miserable, although the lady who cleaned our room and spoke no English had a lovely smile. The bathroom was very small for a superior room, with a walk in shower which was very temperamental in getting the temperature right. Views from our room were amazing and about the best part. We didnt use the pools, as outdoor was too cold (December) and indoor was very underwhelming. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good selection of hot/cold but the plastic chairs again gave a very basic feel to the dining area. The patio doors were very stiff and difficult to open/close. The air con in the room did not work. Room safe required swiping of a card and the condiments in the room were very sparce. Overall, its rated as 4 star for the facilities but did not have the feel of a 4 star, more 3. Disappointing but did the job for a 2 night stay. Don't think I'd return.

We had a marina view room but could still see the sea. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Food was really good. We unfortunately had an adjoining room and our neighbours weren’t quiet! The door between the two rooms was ill fitting and offered no sound protection. Better sound proofing would be good. Clean towels every day. Indoor pool very small and shallow but nice in the winter time.

Room wasnt cleaned or maintained well. Bathroom was particularly worn and poorly laid out. Brought a marina view package and was on the opposite side of the building with a view of the carpark mostly hardly any of the marina. Felt the room wasnt also cleaned well throughout the stay also a lack of a woking air conditioning leading me to using the balcony sliding door to regulate the temperature. Issue with that is i have no suffered mosquito bites as a consequence. Food was a 5/10 of 10 felt more of a service with the bar and other restaurant on location. Which is why the score is average as I had my best time and meal there of the stay

Bathroom - add face towel, body lotion. Upgrade the shower control -its difficult to control the temperature of the water, it's either too cold or too hot. Bedroom - fix the air conditioner - it's too cold! Elevator - too small for our group of 52 pilgrims Breakfast is great! Improve this with offering white rice and fish - fried or grilled or steamed fresh fish.

Out stay was brilliant but they are currently refurbing the rooms. We were in an older style room, the bedroom was pretty good but the bathroom was very dated and basic...All still good and clean though. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent and pool area with indoor and outdoor pools was lovely. Great location, was made by having a seaview. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Staff slow to react to issues, 3 times I had to report unsafe conditions and potential fire risk. Staff were slow at breakfast to clean tables and top up drinks machines, cups, saucers and cutlery The first room was at best 2* not the 4* the hotel claims

amazing breakfast options including gluten free , cooked, sweet pastries and lovely staff all round - specifically a friendly chef in the restaurant area who advised of us places to go (unfortunately can’t remember his name!) They let us check in earlier and prioritised our room getting cleaned to do so. Also stored our luggage for early check in and also on our last day which was super helpful and convenient. They provide towels for sunbeds and cleaning/ room service was spotless no issues. The only issue we ran into was our room door wouldn’t lock but they fixed this very quickly on the same day. Also there’s a safe in the rooms for valuables. The rooms and beds are large and great size balcony comes with a mini fridge. The only feedback I’d say is the bottom of our bathroom door was water damaged from where water leaks out from the walk in shower, so it didn’t close properly! But apart from that the bathroom was great, towels can be replaced daily and no major concerns :)

Die Feuchtigkeit in dem Zimmer war relativ hoch deswegen finde ich das nicht so sauber wegen nassen Boden und feuchten Geruch. Die Klimaanlage bzw. das Luftfiltersystem muss in dieser Situation verbessert werden. Darüber hinaus gibt es drei Aufzüge, von denen jedoch nur einer funktioniert, sodass sowohl für Kunden als auch für das Personal lange Wartezeiten entstehen.

The 1 start review is for the Manager on duty, between Aug 20th and Aug 22nd, 2025, when I stayed here. I checked in around 14:00, and as a Expedia Platinum member for years, I thought I get some good service and a good room, which most hotels I stay at around the world provides. But no, not here. I got a room on the first floor right above the lobby facing the street where the taxis drop off. Tried to take a late afternoon nap because I was jet lagged but couldn't due to the noice. Went down to request a room change from the front desk staff, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager refused to come out to speak to me. I went 3 times that same day, to request another room and to speak to the manger, each time, the staff went to the back office and came back, the manager was busy. Also did the same on the second day, Aug 21st, but no, the manager too busy. Absolute terrible customer service. If the manager doesn't dare to face its paying customers, perhaps the hospitality industry is not for you. I hope your boss will read this and send you back to the mailroom where you belong. For the room, they are old, cheap small sheets that don't even cover the bed, so you wake up touching the old mattress. Super old wooden closet, where the door was broken. The pool is nice, the restaurant food was very basic and bland without flavor. Big plus however for a very impressive breakfast buffet. The hotel is in a good area, also a good plus. Honest review this.

L'hotel è stata la cosa più bella della vacanza a Malta! Considerato il caldo abbiamo trascorso bellissimi momenti di relax in piscina. La stanza al sesto piano aveva una vista bellissima e il personale dell' albergo è stato molto premuroso. Assolutamente ci tornerei.

Nel complesso è una ottima scelta, ma se andiamo a vedere la stanza, parlo per quella del primo piano, beh lì c’è ancora molto da fare!!non era come la descrizione della foto, molto vecchia come stile e mobilio, il bagno poi, senza ventola, muffa, quando fai la doccia si bagna il pavimento, la porta rigonfia è scollata, mattonelle scheggiate, insomma proprio no!!! Per un quattro stelle e per il prezzo pagato! Overall it is a great choice, but if we go to see the room, I speak for the one on the first floor, well there is still a lot to do!! It was not like the description in the photo, very old in style and furniture, the bathroom then, without a fan, mold, when you take a shower the floor gets wet, the swollen door is unglued, chipped tiles, in short just not!!! For a four star hotel and for the price paid!

Godt placeret hotel.

Godt placeret hotel, dejligt hotel ,venligt personale. Dog var restauranten dårligt indrettet idet akustikken var dårlig ( betød meget larm) og i det hele taget ikke særlig charmeret sted at spise. På værelserne manglede der bl.a. sengelamper. M.h.t. maden så havde vi også inkluderet aftensmad, som vi synes var meget krydret og ensartet.
