Best location ever !

My family and I stayed there for my daughter’s college graduation. Walked the farmers market and across the street for dinner. It was quiet and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Everyone loved it even my 80 year old auntie!

Loved the location!

Can’t say enough good things about the great location of this property! It was great to walk out the door and have plenty of walkable food options and small shops to explore. The accommodations were also outstanding and very comfortable for the four adults in our group. The house was well stocked with more than we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic house & location!

I can not say enough good things about this house. It is in a prime location, has plenty of space and everything you need. Owners were easy to communicate with. House itself is perfect but the location really sets it off. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and your own parking space.

We enjoyed this house so much. Owners were very helpful. Plenty of room for a family. Walk out the front door to restaurants and shops. We will rent this place again since we do travel to St. Louis often.

Great location and cute home

We were very happy with the home we stayed in. It was very clean and tidy and we appreciated the little things like snacks and waters when we arrived. We soon found out that St. Charles is definitely seasonal as many places were closed during the beginning of the week or being remodeled due to the off season. However we were still able to make the best of our vacation by heading towards downtown St Louis and other areas around St Charles. But just a heads up to those who stay on the actual Main St. Also the casino down the road isn’t nearly as nice as it used to be. Many machines not working and very smoky. But I would definitely recommend this home for a getaway for your family. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cute home!

Perfect place in Saint Charles

This property was absolutely perfect for myself and two kiddos. It was in a great location for strolling the cobblestone street and exploring the quant shops and restaurants, and only a 25 minute drive into the city. There were snacks, coffee pods, and everything we needed for a comfy stay, as well as fun bunk beds, games and toys for the kids. The host was very responsive and helped us get into the house very quickly when we had trouble with the door. We will definitely return to this property!

Perfect!

So many wonderful things I can say about this property. The location is better than ANY other option in Saint Charles, located right in the center of the downtown. The house was bigger than it looks in the picture with plenty of space to spread out. Everything was so clean, the beds were so comfortable, the showers were great, and there were snacks and water available for us to take with on a few days trips which was so appreciated. There was a small issue with the lock on the house (the only issue) but it was resolved immediately. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to spend a day or two visiting St.Louis.. It was only 25 minutes away and much more relaxing to end the day in this cozy town. Would definitely go back!

A Piece of History

We loved our stay at the St. Charles Guest House on Main Street. The location was so convenient for evening walks down Main Street or during the day when browsing the stores. Grandma's Cookies is very close and the became a daily stop. My kids range from age 11-16 and they loved having the upstairs level to themselves. The lower level is quiet and cozy. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. I have stayed in many VRBOs and these hosts go out of their way to think of everything. Towels, blankets, soaps and shampoos, snacks, coffee, and even bottles of water. We loved the location and we felt like we could easily stay in St Charles and have plenty of restaurant options or things to do or go into St. Louis. It was a great week and we are thankful that we found this house for our family vacation.

Perfect Cottage

We just returned from a one week stay in this Perfect Cottage. I am truly reluctant to review it with 5 Stars, as we intend to return, and don't really want to share how great it is :O The cottage perfectly met our needs as a Family, as there were ample places for everyone to have their own space. I loved the small reading room in front, and even my usually non-reader husband enjoyed it! Such a quiet nook. We would have used the back covered patio daily, had the weather been more cooperative. My sons (20&22) made their home in the upper level Bunk Room. We all enjoyed a movie on the enormous flat screen TV, joking that we had Stadium Seating (bunk beds). Regardless of the cool, damp weather, this home gave us a comfortable place to just "chillax". The lower level Master was Spa like. My only critique is that it was noticeably cooler down there, and the "fireplace" did not give off heat. I Loved the washer/dryer, as we generated plenty of dirty clothes and towels over a week stay. The full kitchen is ideal for a lengthy stay, so we didn't have to eat out so often. Both bathrooms far exceed ones we have at home...we felt spoiled! We are not new to St Charles, but we appreciated the central location on Main Street. Downtown St Louis is an easy 30-40 min drive. My husband still marvels at how I found such a Perfect rental, SO much nicer than a Hotel suite. Since my return home, I have eagerly shared my photos and stories of our stay at the Main Street Cottage. Rest assured, we will return :-))

Beautiful property that was perfect for our family of 6! Loved that it was right across from the Katy Trail and conveniently located on Main Street next to shops and eateries! When we arrived, we were surprised by a cute basket of snacks and water in the fridge. All the kitchen supplies we needed to make a meal were also available! I had one question for the owners, and it was answered right away! Would highly recommend!!

Perfect space. Perfect location.

My four daughters, my granddaughter and I spent a three day weekend here in the middle of February. Even though the weather was wintry, we were just steps away from shopping and dining. We also had a spa day at the Ameristar hotel spa!. The house is historical and charming and perfectly designed to accommodate the six of us. A special thanks to the owner for answering my phone call on our arrival Valentine's evening after we had lockedd ourselves out! So appreciative.

Friends Getaway

THE location in St. Charles

We had never visited Saint Charles before and didn’t realize what a boon this location would be. While others were walking up and down the street looking for their cars, we were able to walk out our front door to all the shopping and dining we could handle. No need to drive anywhere. Communication with the host was easy. We will be back.
