It’s literally right by the exit downtown is just 8 mins away. It’s very convenient if you wanna enjoy downtown and not have to fight traffic to get back to your room. It was clean and the check was simple.

Unsafe, location, armed security in lobby. As a woman traveling solo, I was awoken in the middle of the night by someone continuing banging on doors, a domestic dispute in the room adjacent to mine. After calling down to reception asking for security to come up, I was denied and told it was a delivery driver, trying to find the right room. The room itself faced the highway with very bright lights all night and continual noise. My pillow had a hair on it, and the shower had mold and rust around the fixtures. The luggage rack was falling off the wall and the socket which the lamp plugged into was coded in dust and hair. Clearly a filthy facility. Would not advise anyone to stay here in this unsafe environment. To say the least I checked out after not being able to sleep, leaving very early that morning.

Remodeled older hotel. Walls were thin. Smallest, slowest elevator ever, a little creepy. Inexpensive and close to the hospital.

The hotel is functioning as some sort of housing for what appeared to be unhoused people. That in and of itself is not the issue (although it would have been nice to know). The parking lot, lobby, hallways, and elevator were dirty. Cigarette butts littered the parking lot, and were even in the hallway. The uncarpeted floors in the hallway and elevators were sticky and un-mopped throughout our four night stay. There is an odor of marajuana

Stayed here with my mother while my dad was in Barnes. Place is kinda sketchy. Felt like the only " normal" guest. Pretty sure 99% of the other guest were long term stays. Walls are paper thin. Heard lots of things I really thought I'd never experience with my mother. Pay a few more dollars & go elsewhere.

Three things: 1) this is not a 3/3.5 star hotel, it is an 2 star motel. 2) in fairness, they are trying, but not meeting expectations: no room service, you have to restock your own coffee each morning and towels and the toilet flushes sometimes. 3) shame on Expedia for listing this former Holiday Inn so highly, please check on your properties once in a while. I would not recommend for any reason, there are better options in the same area.

The reviews on Travelocity were much more accurate. This hotel is very run down. They couldn’t find my reservation at check in, the AC didn’t work and there was no toilet paper in the room. The paint is peeling, the sheets, while laundered, were stained. There were people hanging out in the lobby whom seemed to have just received medical attention. The security guard was with them although one randomly knocked on my door a couple of times. I have stayed in motels nicer than this place. All surrounding hotels were full. This should be a last resort. They only positive was the front desk staff were pleasant.

Staff are trying their hardest but this place was not great. Dirty rooms that smelled like smoke and Venezuela, and when you open the window to get fresh air, you have to hear highway noise all night. Sketchy, slow elevator. Very friendly front desk guy. 😂

Room was spotless. No noise in the hallways .the front desk staff keeps the front doors locked at night. And the security guards arevon point making sure nothing bad happens while all customers are asleep.

The AC/Heater was strong. It kicked out very cold air and turned warm quickly when needed. Comfy bed and excellent water pressure. Best thing about the hotel was the staff though. Thank you for a great stay!

The room was very clean and in good repair. The outlets were a little loose but still worked. We did not use the heat or air as the room was just the right temperature for us. The main complaint would be that even though we were in a non-smoking room, it smelled of smoke. We attempted to air it out, but the smell came back after closing the patio door. (the smell might have been coming from the chair that showed signs of having been in a smoking room at some time)

One bath towel in bathroom. Horrible smell in elevator. Pretty sure hotel is also part of a homeless shelter place that helps house people. Security in the lobby so that’s scary. No way to charge anything unless you have a block to connect with. Did not feel safe outside of my room.

We were looking for a clean room and comfortable bed for 1 night. And that’s exactly what we got, but no more. The facility itself was a bit shabby, and only one elevator was working. While the bed was comfortable, the bathroom could have used a little more elbow grease. There were only a couple of fast food restaurants in the area. The rate was very reasonable, but this once again validates that you get what you pay for. I’d look elsewhere next time.
