We were extremely disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, the home was not as pictured in the listing and was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival.There were dirty towels and linens left on the floors, wet and soiled towels in the bathtub, hair all over the sinks, and dirty dishes left inside the dishwasher. The overall condition of the home did not reflect the photos advertised online.Additionally, the listing stated there was one king bed and one queen bed. This was inaccurate. The master bedroom had a queen bed, and the second bedroom had a full-size bed. We specifically chose this property to accommodate our family size, as we were traveling with two small children and two older kids. Unfortunately, the bed in the older kids’ room was broken, so the pull-out option was unusable.Several closet doors were also broken, and the home was not decorated as shown in the listing photos.After driving six hours with two infants and two children, we arrived to these conditions and immediately contacted the host. We were offered a free night and to have cleaners come the following day. However, waiting until the next day for cleaning was not a reasonable solution given that we still had to sleep there that night.As a result, we had to spend over 200 out of pocket on cleaning supplies, linens, pillows, and towels for all eight of us.I would strongly encourage future guests to confirm sleeping arrangements and cleanliness expectations prior to arrival.
