不满意：住宿条件和设施，清洁度
We’ve stayed at the Home 2 Suites St. Louis Downtown before and have always liked the location, especially since it’s so close to the Enterprise Center. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing.
We arrived a little after 4:00 p.m., which is the listed check-in time, and the lobby was packed with guests trying to check in. There were only two employees working the front desk, so the line was long. When we finally reached the desk, we were told our room wasn’t ready — and we were just one of many guests being told the same thing.
Frustrated, I used the app to check in so we could at least go get dinner while waiting. We finally received a notification at 4:55 p.m. that our room was ready.
When we returned to the hotel, we discovered their parking lot was already full and had to find parking elsewhere. After finally getting to our room, things didn’t improve. The floors were sticky, the toilet paper dispenser was partially ripped out of the wall, and there were still dishes left in the dishwasher.
On the last day of our stay, I went to the fitness room to work out. When I finished and headed back to my room, a man who had been wandering around watching people followed me down the hall toward my room. I’m not sure what his intentions were, but it was unsettling.
Overall, while the location is convenient, that’s where the positives end for us. Based on this experience, we won’t stay here again.
