"Electra Metropolis is a very solid choice in Athens, and I would stay here again, primarily for its excellent location. The hotel is perfectly positioned in Syntagma, making it incredibly easy to walk to most major sites, restaurants, and shopping areas. For a short city break, this level of convenience is hard to beat, and the area also felt very safe, even in the evenings. The room itself was on the smaller side but well designed and functional. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the stay, housekeeping and turndown service were consistently on point, which made a noticeable difference. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were synthetic, which may not suit everyone. One of the highlights is breakfast. The rooftop setting with views of the Acropolis is genuinely special, and the food selection was good with attentive service. It’s a great way to start the day before heading out. Service across the hotel was friendly and efficient, with staff generally helpful and welcoming. Facilities are decent. The gym is located in the basement and is on the smaller side, but sufficient for a quick workout. Very good experience and highly recommended. "

"Very good and well balanced breakfast while staff kept the premises impeccably clean! We also enjoyed the incredible rooftop vistas and restaurant where our dinner was delicious! Once again, staff demonstrated great respect and service! We highly recommend this hotel for location, service, food quality and friendliness."

"Location was AMAZING!!!! We were so close and central to everything. We never took a taxi as everything was 5-25 min walk. The amenities, I.e., slippers, water, etc. were restocked daily. The hotel itself was quiet and check in/check out was very quick and easy. Would stay here again!"

"Great breakfast. Greek and western. Fresh. Staff were helpful and place is superclean. Easy to walk to all sights. Noisy on rooms facing hadrians park. Ask for back of building. "

"Great location, right in the middle of the city. They had a WhatsApp chat and were also very helpful and responsive. Reception staff were kind, caring and happy to help. Bedroom was cleaned daily and had fresh towels. View from the top of hotel you could see the acropolis too. Only downside was that there were mirrored cupboards and doors that were blacked out. The only other mirror was the bathroom, but the lighting was too poor to do my make up. The bathroom door was also too close and had to squeeze behind the door all the way to get out when using the sink, but minor issue. Ladies, bring your own mirror. Overall, loved our stay here and would definitely recommend and come back ourselves too."

"Very centrally located, east to get around Even though we were on the 8th floor there was lots of street noise. The breakfast and the staff were outstanding."
