The food is very good, and the team goes out of their way to accommodate special requests whenever possible. For those looking to explore beyond the resort, the staff are also happy to recommend several excellent local restaurants within walking distance, adding even more charm and variety to the overall experience."

"The Sugar Cane Club Hotel and Spa is an immaculately well maintained property. The gardens are a delight to see at this time of year, with a lot of the shrubs in bloom. The room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. The balcony was a great place to watch the sun set over the ocean. The restaurant is pleasant with attentive staff serving good, well priced meals. There were ample sun loungers around the property and the pool. The real strength of this place is the staff. Nothing too much trouble or too busy to share a bit of banter; all with a friendly smile. The only criticism I would make is due to the slightly remote location, the shuttle that takes guests to the beach and nearby Speightstown could run more often and later into the evening for those guests that want to explore the bars and restuarants, without having to specify a pickup time."

"Just, wow! This house was the PERFECT place for our friend group of 5 to take a vacation to Barbados. The house itself was clean, fully equipped (down to pool noodles and card games), and super comfortable! Each bedroom had its own separate AC unit and the fans throughout the common spaces kept the airflow breezy and not too hot. Check in was super easy and painless as it was self check in. The lady that provided our cleaning during our stay was so sweet, respectful, and helpful! We had the best time swimming in the pool, playing card games around the back deck table, and enjoying our morning coffee while watching baby monkeys play in the backyard. If you’re debating whether or not to book, BOOK! You won’t regret this beautiful getaway in Barbados!"

"Fabulous garden cottage, literally a steady 5 minutes walk to Gibbes beach or 3 minutes to Mullins beach. Well-equipped and freshly decorated, with aircon in bedroom. Everything as described and more. Looked after by the lovely Wendy but not intrusive. Hummingbirds, green monkeys, parakeets and butterflies in abundance in the amazing garden. Such a relaxing holiday - we will be back "
Large Secure 2 Bedroom Apartment with large pool steps to Mullins Beach

"This place is amazing. Spacious, clean apartment that is well stocked. Only four units in entire building so our stay. Don't tell anyone but this place is a slice a paradise. The pool is beautiful and lush. We had a troop of green monkeys come through a couple of times, there was a resident rooster hanging out plus we had a monster toad one night. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and elegant, including the bed and pillows. The location is just a few short blocks from the beach, restaurants and public transportation to the rest of the island. The hosts were attentive and helpful. It was absolutely perfect for us! One thing to note is there is no TV. Not a problem for us, just a heads up for others who might take it for granted."
