Thank you for your nice review. We're very sorry we didn't earn 5 stars from you. We actually enjoy walking (rather than driving) the level, mostly shaded, and certainly scenic, one mile walk to the village (in one direction) and beach (in the other). Driving is fine, but in the high season, parking can be a challenge. And when we bring our bikes, because of the paved bike lanes, getting around is quick and easy without a car because of our awesome location. You mentioned separately that you were concerned about the triangular step treads at the 90 degree turn at the top of our stairs to the second level. Unfortunately, those treads are very common in a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath, two level condo of this size because of its efficient use of space. They are certainly in every condo in our neighborhood. We wanted to note your comments here because it might help those reading this review who also have trouble with stairs to make an informed rental choice for their vacation. We try very hard to provide a clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, well appointed home for our guest, as well as providing a manager on site who will respond quickly should you have any problems. We want our guest to feel appreciated and valued because they are. It seems we missed the mark with your visit. Mistakes happen, and we can't please everyone, but we are always looking for ways to improve (within our means). While we can't change the stairs, perhaps this review will help our future guests know more about what to expect from our beloved island getaway. Thank you again for choosing us!
