Lovely cozy place!

Great location —- cute house

Easy access to the beach and biking distance to the Village. The home has everything you need — multiple tv’s, well stocked kitchen, great screened in porch and more. We will rent this property again.

Best beach vacation!

Mary’s House is an adorable cottage with a welcoming front porch (screened), clean and comfortable furnishings, well-resourced kitchen, and a perfect location in East Beach. We spent almost two weeks this summer relaxing and enjoying all that SSI has to offer. House is located in an ideal location to great restaurants. We will definitely return and offer high praise!

Nice and Pleasant

This is the third or fourth time I have stayed at the property, it is what a beach house should be, nice, clean, plenty of space and a charcoal grill! My dog loves the front porch as I read the afternoon's away.

A Perfect Beach Home

This was the perfect beach home for our family vacation. It was exactly what we needed for our family of six and two pups. It was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to all of the restaurants and shops. Everything we needed during our stay was available in the home. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

East Beach Cottage

We had a great experience at this property and Ben was always available. Our one problem was a bed had not been changed prior to our arrival and we had to change the sheets, hence to 4 stars for cleanliness. Other than that, which was an easy fix, we recommend this property and hope to stay there again.

The property Was not as expected,

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was a decent experience. Several issues need to be addressed. The garbage disposal did not work, which was a problem. The outside grill did not have a grate for the charcoal. The house smelled very musty and the outside yard was very messy and unkempt. unfortunately, we were there during the construction of a fence right next to us. We did enjoy the screened in front porch. There was no backyard at all, which was not indicated in the pictures or description. But one of the major things was that there was not a railing going up the steps to the front door. I needed assistance going up and down the stairs each time. Do building codes not require rails to help enable handicap people?

We love Mary's House!

We really enjoyed out time at Mary's House! It is a perfect East Beach location, with an easy trek to a lovely uncrowded beach. The house itself has lots of charm and was a great fit for our family of five plus our dog. The kitchen has all the necessities, including a crock pot to save you from worrying about dinner after a long day on the beach. And the house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. Thanks for a wonderful week. We are looking forward to our next visit!

wish we could've stayed longer

the house was perfect for us and our two dogs. renting a golf cart make living on the island perfect, close to beach, downtown, etc. the house is within walking distance of the beautiful, dog-friendly beach. kitchen has plenty of tools to cook, nice grilling outside, comfy furniture and great screened-in porch to relax. owner was quick to fix a wifi issue. we look forward to returning next year. bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, as only one is provided. 5 star rating for this cute house

Cute Cottage

We enjoyed our stay and the reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there was a ceiling leak in one of the bedrooms I’m guessing it was the air condition condensation. Overall cute place .

Our family had a wonderful time!

Quaint, vintage beach cottage was the perfect place to make lots of special memories! The location was outstanding too. Easy beach access and so much fun going down to the pier village by golf cart and exploring the island was so easy from our location also.

St Simons spring break

Quaint cozy comfortable cottage. Perfect location FOR US , in East Beach near friends. Walk to beach was thru a swampy ,buggy area - which is just part of the area. The hot water was a little inconsistent , which is understandable for an older home, so for a winter stay that may be an issue w/ showers. The adjacent lot is apparently a storage lot which may prove unsightly for some , but just close the blinds & it's outta sight outta mind. Our gang had a blast & thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would absolutely love to stay here again.

Awesome Stay!

The property was great. Plenty of space for our family of 7! VERY clean, and well kept. Perfect walking distance to the beach. Short drive to the parks and lighthouse too! Plenty to eat nearby. A grocery store 2 miles away also. Would definitely return!
