We had a great long weekend at Satilla Cottage! Lighthouse Vacations was really accommodating and easy to work with! The house is a short walk to the pool and beach and is very spacious with nice outdoor areas and a big kitchen/family room area. The kids loved the bunk room!

Annual trip

We stay in the Coast Cottages community every year for our beach trip. The Satilla cottage was nice and very well cleaned prior to our check in. The property did have a few maintenance issues, but the management group was very responsive to our inquiries or issues. Overall easy and great stay.

Perfect in Every Way!

This was a family vacation working around a family wedding on Sea Island. This was the perfect location with the beach and pool in walking distance and the home was just perfect and big enough to accommodate my husband and 4 grown children. Hope to come back.

Perfect House

We fell in love with the Cottages. Access to the beach and pool were fantastic. A quick golf cart or car ride to the villages, steps away from a really cool interactive World War 2 Museum has our family itching to get back to this house quickly! Our dog had a great vacation too! It was the perfect house for us. Check in process was great and the house comes with so many amenities. We loved our stay.

Beautiful Cabin!

Beautiful cottage! Loved that it was one of the houses closest to the pool and beach. It was the perfect place for 3 couples and a couple of kids. The master closet was so big we were able to keep our smallest (baby) in a pack and play in there which was nice because she had her own “room”. The trundle under the bunk beds was perfect for our 3 year old so we didn’t have to worry about him falling off the bed. We loved the large open concept kitchen and living area. Very roomy! Most everything we needed as far as cooking goes was stocked in the kitchen. Recommend bringing extra paper towels and tissue and some liquid hand soap for the bathrooms as there were only a few stocked in the house. It was nice to have some extra beach toys so we appreciated that those were outside for our kids to use. The ice maker wasn’t working which was inconvenient but we made the owners aware so hopefully this wouldn’t be a reoccurring issue. Some of the doors to the porches were difficult to open and close but we also made the owners aware of that so maybe they will be quick fixes. Would stay here again!

Great Family Gathering Place

We stayed here with extended family over Thanksgiving break and had a fantastic time. The kitchen was well equipped enough for us to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner and the kids absolutely loved the proximity to the beach and the heated pool! We will definitely return again!
