Island getaway
The property was just as listed. A beautiful home with lots of space to spread out. The hot tub, outdoor fireplace, bbq, etc., and ample deck areas were perfect for our group.Weather was too cool for the pool… but it was available if we had wanted to use it. The property was private and the house was supplied with everything we could ask for. Duane was pleasant to deal with and even provided welcome treats. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home
Home was beautiful, had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub , weather was a little rainy so didn’t get a chance to use the pool. Lost anchor , Turkey tavern and Blue mussel cafe were all excellent places to eat. Was pretty surprised that it costs 50.25 to get off the Island, more surprised that the locals have to pay it 😢

Very enjoyable stay in Stanley Bridge
This was a great stay for our family! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked with every utensil and device needed. Beautiful grounds. We would definitely come back here when next in PEI. Thank you Duane and Susan.

Overall, we were pleased with the property. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub; found the kitchen to be well-equipped and a pleasure to work in; and particularly enjoyed the location near Stanley Bridge. We were disappointed that the view of the water shown in the pictures actually wasn't there--at least not from the main deck area. We never did locate the correct kayaks or a safe dock from which to launch them. We have some suggestions, but they seem moot at this point. We'd certainly recommend the property--it was great to have our dog and room for friends to join us.

Outstanding home and location!
We have been using VRBO for quite some time now, and this property is right at the top with regard to our experiences (all of which have been really good). It is in a perfect central location to see all of PEI. It is lovely and quiet. There is everything you could need and then some. The pool is actually heated (without some separate charge). The house is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There is an outdoor shower next to the pool and large hot tub. Duane, the owner, was very nice and quick to reply. We would be absolutely delighted to stay at this property again!

Summer trip with extended family
We really enjoyed our stay at the Nautical Star. Accomodations were very comfortable and it was great that the kids could have their own space. The pool and hot tub were well-used. Location was fantastic, just a few minutes drive from the dunes at Cavendish beach, a number of golf courses, restaurants and all things Anne. One minor note: make sure to follow GPS directions for the final turn, as the street sign is missing.

P&K's Stay
This was an amazing week! The purpose of our stay was to introduce our daughter's fiancée to our PEI side of the family and the Island itself. The location to everything was convenient and a trip to Charlottetown resulted in a wedding dress. PEI family came and went and enjoyed ourselves immensely!!! The consistent rain couldn't even dampen out fun. The hot tub sure was a hit! Duane & Sue made sure we had everything we needed. Thankyou!!!

This house was all we could have asked for. Beautiful private property. We experienced luxury . We were 10 people, aged 11 to 80 and all felt we were in a special place. Easy access to any where on the island. Owners were available when needed and totally non intrusive.

Exceptional Vacation Rental
Beautiful house with amenities that the 3 teens that were with us thoroughly enjoyed, from the heated pool and hot tub to the air hockey table. We had a great vacation in PEI and want to thank Duane and Susan for sharing their wonderful home with us. They promptly answered all of our questions and as an added touch left us bread, jam, and wine to enjoy during our stay!

Lovely family getaway
This property was perfect for our family! We had terrible weather (lots of rain), but were able to make the most of it and enjoy the Hot tub. Had issues with the hot tub, but Duane was very responsive and fixed it right away! Kids enjoyed the air hockey table. Lots of space. Simply a great place to stay, excellent accommodations, everything you need to function in a home is provided from preparing meals, laundry facilities, fire pit, barbecue, hot tub, and pool. Owner very friendly and went out of his way to welcome you. Most definitely would rent this property again.

Amazing rental!
We spent 4 nights in this very comfortable rental. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Bed slept great! The hot tub was the highlight for us... having an evening soak with a fireplace 6 feet away is heavenly!!

Beautiful and relaxing. Love the 3 levels. Husband and i on top level and our 2 adult children and partner on lower level allowed them to stay up later and us not hear them. Our 2 dogs loved it as well. Great place for them to run around.

We and our children and grandchildren had a great time at the Nautical Star. The place was clean and maintained and fairly well stocked as well! Everything for a relaxing family vacation the pool was clean and the hot tub was clean, lots to do inside as well. Spacious, beautiful deck outside. We spent most of the vacation out on the decks, lots of lounge chairs and we love the Hamic! When we got there there was fresh bread on the table with blueberry jam and a bottle of wine! Certainly started the vacation off right. Hoping to come back to the spot again.

I was so impressed with how well outfitted this property is. We could find every kitchen gadget we thought we might need and all appliances were excellent quality and easy to use. Beds were comfy and so much space for our group. Would definitely stay again! Not many properties like this on the island so don’t hesitate to book it (if it’s still available!).

The house is clean and tidy but for a group of 10 people, we could not dine comfortable. The kitchen is really small. The rooms are spacious though. Wifi connection is good but the password we were provided was not right and it took a while for us to figure out. The starter of the Weber BBQ stove does not work. Sad that the pool was not ready and we could not used it.

Great off season getaway.
This property is in a lovely, quiet, spot in the countryside. The beds are very comfortable and the well appointed kitchen was a pleasure to work in. Lots of room for kids outside and the hot tub was used regularly during our stay. Unfortunately, the pool heater was off for the season, leaving the pool too cold for a swim.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this generously appointed chalet style home located on a serene and private property. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the upper balcony overlooking the water, but there were multiple decks and lovely spots to enjoy nature throughout, including the pool and hot tub. Duane and Susan were welcoming and attentive hosts. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Group Getaway
Easy check in, easy to contact to host, easy to find this lovely property. This big home has plenty of bedrooms and an amazing deck with a hot tub, outdoor pool, and wonderful outdoor fridge, shower, sink and fireplace set in stone. Wonderful for a couple of small families or several couples.

Nautical star is a real star! It had everything that we wanted for our getaway to PEI.
The property was beautiful and well maintained. The owners were very friendly. The saltwater pool was a perfect size. The hot tub was superb for relaxing after a day of play. I enjoyed the upper deck for star gazing. All round a great place to stay.

We had an amazing time. All of us enjoyed our stay. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed thoroughly by all of us. The cottage was fully stocked with towels, games, dishes, TVs, lawn chairs, and just about anything you may need. It was clean and well taken care of. Very spacious and quality furnishings. The house was absolutely stunning!! The owners were very thoughtful and left us a bottle of wine, as well as some money for ice and a ‘local treat’. The cupboards were also stocked with anything and everything we could have possibly needed during our stay! My boyfriend and I stayed there for our birthday weekend and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Pictures don’t even do this place justice!!

Overwhelmingly Wonderful Property
Where do we start!!?? We arrived to a beautifully appointed home rich with amenities and special touches. The table was set with candles, a bottle of wine, loaf of fresh bread from a local Amish baker, a round of fresh cheese from a local farm, Popsicles in the freezer for our grandchildren. The list went on and on... We can't say enough about Duane and Susan, the owners of this property, The Nautical Star. Susan texted mid-day on check-in day to let us know an earlier arrival time was available if we wanted it. She checked in on us our first full day there to answer any questions. Then Duane checked in physically or via the VRBO app nearly every day. The owners were incredibly informative about local attractions. At the same time they encouraged us to take a walk in the neighborhood and simply enjoy the beauty that is PEI. The home has nearly every amenity: heated, sparkling clean swimming pool, beautifully clean outdoor hot tub that Duane drains and sanitizes between each rental to help ensure the most positive experience for each vacationer. Lots of room for yard games, a firepit to relax around, an outdoor fireplace to enjoy while in the hot tub, outdoor shower with hot and cold water, gas grill, outdoor kitchen, smoker grill, 3 hammocks, kayak and canoe usage in the tidal river, lots of decking to relax on. The interior was pristine with soaring ceilings, exposed beams, comfy beds well spread out. Bathrooms with amazing showers and Jacuzzi tubs, modern appliances, great washer/dryer set up. A beauty of a gas fireplace, private seating area on second floor with an amazing view. So much room...we were a party of 8 and had lots of room to spread out. The rec room in the basement has an air hockey table that saw alot of usage. Toys and books for the kids, electronics for the grown ups, wifi, high speed internet.. THE NAUTICAL STAR is perfectically central in location to explore all PEI. Wether you want a day-long excursion or feel like hopping around souvenir shopping, this property made a perfect choice for us. And when we just wanted relaxation time, The Nautical Star gave us that too! We look forward to returning again next year!
