We have stayed at this resort several years ago and we enjoyed the experience. However, our experience when we stayed there in July, 2026 was much different, When we first booked the reservation through Expedia, we were led to believe that there were only a few rooms left as the room availability indicated that they were sold out many of the rooms. We booked an available room. When we arrived at the property, there was virtually no one else in the resort but ourselves. The resort advertised an English breakfast each morning however that was not served during our stay. The restaurant and common area of the main building was not accessible and there were very few staff seen during the entire stay. We did receive fresh towels each day. We checked out one day early and were told that no refund of the one night stay would be made. In summary, not a great experience as we got the impression that the ownership has recently changed hands or that the resort has been closed for some time and open only to accommodate expected visitors during a music festival held locally.
