MUCH better than a tent! Avoid Rain / Cold / Heat

Great place to stay for climbers and hikers to the Gorge. Large eating / gathering area, large bathroom with laundry. Spacious upstairs. Small creek crossing, but nothing crazy off road, close to paved road.Great views out of most rooms and awesome outside gathering area with fire pit and rock table. Wasn't warm enough for the outside bath.

Not what we expected...

The cabin was OK but definitely not worth the money. We were really disappointed at the cleanliness of this place. It looked like nobody had been there in a long time. There were cobwebs everywhere. We couldn't take a shower while we were there because the bathtub was filled with bugs and very dirty. The first morning we had to run to Kroger to buy plastic spoons because there were none. Annoying to say the least. The cabin was freezing when we got there and it took a while to warm up. Overall not a good experience.

Serene funky farmhouse

We loved the location and surrounding property of the house. The woods, stream and fields were lovely. In the morning we watched a huge crayfish march to the creek crossing. The house felt really special too because everything was custom. We would use this place again the next we visit the area!

Anniversary Getaway

We stayed here for our anniversary. It was the perfect getaway, away from the noise and sounds of the city. Hearing the crickets and creek during the night from the screened in patio made it so easy to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to go back before we leave Kentucky and head back to our home in Louisiana.

Nice and fun cabin for kids

The cabin was really nice and unique. Could’ve used more blankets for all of the people we had staying. And maybe a lock on the bathroom door. The experience was really fun for the kids!

Fun and quirky farmhouse

We really enjoyed the quirkyness of the farmhouse. The kids loved the bunk and the loft area. The family enjoyed the peacefulness around a campfire each night. A couple family members were not fans of the one lane tunnel, but most of us found it to be just a fun part of the adventure.

Beautiful rustic cabin!!

This cabin had everything that my husband and i were looking for - easy access to 77, lots of hiking trails near by, clean and cozy cabin with an outdoor fire pit. Kitchen was stocked with basic utensil needs. Definitely would recommend to friends!
