Great stay in the heart of town! The location couldn't be better, with everything within easy reach. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was some noise from people outside, but that's just part of being in a lively town center and I wouldn't hold it against the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again!

The location of this hotel is perfect for our needs. Right in the heart of town, and close to our PSU student who lives on Frat Row. My only real complaint was that the bathroom in our room (313) was rather dingy. The shower floor needed a good bleaching, and the areas outside the shower had mildew too. The bathroom door was also difficult to open and close. Otherwise we had a very good experience here, and will definitely be back.

It was a great hotel in a great location but it was so unbelievably noisy all night. We got a room directly across from SAE Fraternity and the noise from parties and activity went on until at least 3:30 AM. If I ever do it again you must bring a sound machine and ear plugs if you are facing Beaver Avenue.

Room was great except the other reviews said it was a quiet location. That was not our experience, the noise from the street was extremely loud until all the students left the area around 2:30am!

I am surprised that Hilton has it’s name on such a mediocre property. I spent 2 nights there. The first night I was kept up to 2 am with some sort of generator that was literally vibrating the floor. The next morning I realized that mold was growing on the grout in the shower. I complained, asked for a different room and was told they were oversold. At least someone turned off the floor vibrations and cleaned the shower. But even so — the rooms are beyond stark. “Scholars” must be code for “dorm room.” Furthermore, the window glazing is poor enough that you hear the street noise. The mattress is okay, but certainly not especially comfy. Hilton failed big time with this property.
