「Charming cottages (both the Tea House & Ivy Rose) on a lovely property with great location. Mary is a kind and accommodating host! The cottages are unique & rich with character. Access to the Tea House does involve a handful of gracefully landscaped steps down to it’s private outdoor porches. A great spot for coffee in the morning! Will return. 」

「EXCELLENT location for JMU graduation! Our family enjoyed staying so close to campus. We loved sitting on the porch and the driveway was perfect for getting in and out during traffic. Beds were comfortable and home was well appointed. Host was so friendly, allowed us to check in an hour early and communicated quickly. We can't wait to come back for our next JMU visit!」

「We spent a wonderful weekend with our family at this home. We arrived early and Austen was very accommodating and we were able to check in much earlier (he was also super nice when we were late checking out whoops!). The house is very cozy and family friendly. Beds were soft. The kitchen had everything you would need although no oven (not a big deal). 「Loved the coziness of the cottage. It was perfect for what I needed.」

「Several things were not what was expected. Most notably was ants all over the kitchen counters and sink. And very damp towels folded in the bathroom. The towels had clearly not been dried enough and were presented as if useable for morning showers. But we came to find them wet and smelly. We didn’t have time to dry them so we had to use what we could. Finally the beds were in terrible condition that sank into the middle of the- it was a very unpleasant night sleep.」
