Good place when you need a sleep.
"Overnighted in Ashburton, required a place to sleep. Hotel Ashburton was well priced and well situated. Of course, it wasn't expensive so you need to expect what you pay for. The property is tired but the staff were great, the bed comfortable, the room clean. It was fine."
