This 2 Bedroom + Loft condo at Northstar offers guests a convenient location with all the amenities at a great price! Relax by the gas fireplace in the cozy living area or sit out on your private balcony enjoying the great views. The hot tub, sauna and steam room are just steps away.
Living Space:
The living area has vaulted ceilings and southern exposure for natural light giving it a nice spacious feel. The wood trim adds warmth, and the side windows are a nice touch. The gas fireplace provides a cozy ambiance; kick back in the recliner and enjoy the cable TV or settle in to relax. Among the best features are the views. The living room and balcony have very nice views of the surrounding mountains and the
Yampa valley. On a clear day you can see all the way to the Flat Tops Wilderness, and you will enjoy some amazing sunsets. From the loft, you can see the ski area gondola heading up to Thunderhead Lodge.
Bedrooms & Bath:
Another great feature is the bedroom setup. The master bedroom has a comfy queen, the second bedroom has two full beds, and the cozy loft has two twin beds. With 5 individual beds plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, this condo has ample sleeping capacity. Each bedroom has convenient built-in drawers with a desk and a full closet for easy storage. The bedrooms are separated by a hallway providing nice privacy for each room. The loft has platform frames for the twin mattresses with storage underneath. It also has windows that bring in natural light while allowing you to gaze at the ski mountain and the gondola. The loft is accessed by a ladder from the living area and should only be used by older children and adults.
Kitchen & Dining:
The condo is laid out nicely for groups large or small. Ample counter space makes meal preparation easy and the location of the kitchen/dining island allows folks to sit and talk with the cook and gives the cook a great view out of the balcony. The counter space conveniently serves as kitchen, dining, or computer work space and will easily seat 8 for meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware & utensils.
Amenities
The unit provides all the amenities. With these prices you might not expect it, but this small building has a community hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Complimentary WiFi, cable TV, shared laundry, and a ski locker are included. Parking is available in the lot. Trailers, RVs, etc. are not permitted.
Location
Northstar is located in the mountain village area less than a mile from the base of the ski area. Walk less than a quarter mile to the free bus to the ski resort or to downtown (about 3 miles away). There is a city trail called the Mountain Sneak trail that begins a short distance from the building and leads directly to the gondola, shops, bars, and groceries. Emerald Mountain and Fish Creek Falls offer great hiking and snow shoeing trails within 6.5 miles. The Strawberry Hot Springs are a short distance and are a local favorite.
This condo is very warm and comfortable. Northstar is a small development with only 12 condos and, unit 213 is on the top floor and away from the stairs so it is very quiet.

Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit.
