Welcome to your ultimate mountain retreat! Nestled in the heart of Steamboat Springs, this cozy, modern condo embodies everything I love about this picturesque town. Whether you're here for world-class skiing, scenic summer hikes, or just to relax and recharge, this is the perfect home base. With views of the slopes, luxury amenities, and access to the exclusive Trailhead Lodge facilities - including a private gondola - this space offers a unique blend of comfort, adventure, and alpine charm.

THE SPACE
Step into First Tracks Heaven and feel instantly at home. Recently painted and thoughtfully updated, the condo features brand-new kitchen appliances, modern light fixtures, and a warm mountain aesthetic. The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, from a high-end coffee maker (with organic Honduran fair-trade grounds) to a brand new oven & microwave, an air fryer, rice cooker, instant pot, crock pot, spice rack, knife block, gourmet olive oil, and more.

The open living room includes a dining table, a tri-fold memory foam mattress, a sleeper sofa, and a 50” smart TV with Roku and YouTube TV. Each bedroom is equipped with a King-sized plush memory foam mattress, blackout curtains for deep sleep, and its own smart TV. The master suite features a spacious en-suite bathroom and a large closet, while the second full bath is conveniently located just off the hallway, adjacent to the in-home office and in-unit washer/dryer. The condo also boasts a foldable pack 'n play crib that is stored in the closet if you have a toddler.

Step outside to your private deck with views of the Steamboat slopes and Yampa Valley - a perfect spot for morning coffee or après-ski wine.

The condo was nicely appointed and within walking distance of the gondola that can take you to Steamboat square. Beds were comfortable and water pressure great in the shower. Something to note - the condo is located on the second floor and there is not an elevator. This made it a bit challenging upon arrival with our luggage and groceries. There also isn’t a luggage trolley. Salil couldn’t have been a more welcoming host and we’d definitely stay here again.

⸻We had an absolutely incredible stay at First Tracks 2545, and Salil was hands down the best host we’ve ever had!The location could not be more convenient — just a quick 2-minute walk to the Gondola to get you straight to the base, which made ski days effortless. It’s also only a 1-minute walk to the hot tubs, fitness center, and game room, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the mountain.The condo itself is beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable. The beds were great, the seating area was cozy and inviting, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed — including thoughtful extras like spices, coffee, sugar, and honey. It truly felt like a home away from home.Salil went above and beyond throughout our stay, checking in on us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. His restaurant recommendations were spot on — Besame was our favorite, Saffron Indian was a close second, and Brick was great for take-out pizza (though it looked like it would be a fun place to dine in as well).From start to finish, this was a five-star experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Great stay! Came to ski steamboat with my family which included a toddler and small pup. Owner is very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Place was clean and comfortable. Parking was fairly easy. A very quick walk to the wildhorse gondola makes the place super accessible for those looking to get to the slopes without having to drive and worry about parking. Will happily stay here again.

Very nice property

Property was perfect for our family ski trip!Condo was well stocked with lots of extras. Owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had no issues but he checked in to see if we had any questions. We will definitely keep it in mind for future reservations. Highly recommend!

Great Winter Stay

Our family had a great winter stay at First Tracks. The condo gives you access to a beautiful pool and hot tubs and it is just a few minute walk to the gondola to bring you to the base. The kitchen is incredibly well organized and appointed. We would for sure stay again.

Amazing location- perfect condo for Family

Perfect location for a family vacation! Immediate Access to a gym, hot tubs, and even a restaurant. The condo itself was really clean, comfortable and warm! The condo is right next to a gondola that brings you to the steamboat base area, so you don’t have to drive and find parking. It’s pretty much everything you want in a condo. The owner was very responsive and courteous during our stay. Highly recommend!!

First off, Salil was an awesome host. Flexible about our reservation details and a change we requested. He gave very detailed information about the property and the area. He checked in on us frequently to make sure everything was set for access and arrival and let us get in early when we arrived. He kept checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The property itself is great. Everything as advertised. Beds were super comfy. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything in good shape. Very convenient to the wild horse gondola so easy access to skiing each day. We also used the hot tub/pools nearly every day. The only days we didn't, we grabbed towels from there as we went to the town or Strawberry hot springs. The VaCasa free shuttles that come with the property were incredibly convenient. 10-15 minute pickups from anywhere to anywhere in town made it easy to visit grocery stores, hot springs, restaurants, etc. Amazing stay overall and I would totally do it again.
