The Wildhorse Retreat is a very nice large house with comfortable accommodations for larger groups. The house was in great condition and nicely furnished. The views from the decks are really nice. The Steamboat Lodging property management company did an excellent job communicating and responding to questions.

Great place with room

The house is very nice, well appointed and large enough for our extended family of 9 to have plenty of space. IT's about 2 miles outside of Steamboat but an easy drive (albeit with lots of traffic). We used the kitchen, grill, hot tub, foosball table, etc. - everything worked fine and was well maintained. Highly recommend the property.

Family Steamboat Trip!

We had a great time at this beautiful house. The location was perfect, close to the pool and trails galore for our family of cyclists. The house was well stocked and clean. Hoping we’ll be able to come back next year. My husband left his new Steamboat Gravel Triathlon drinking glass there so keep it safe for us! Ha!

Perfect in every way!

We are a family of babies, preschoolers, adults & old folks! The location was perfect for those of us who are skiers and everyone else that wanted to experience winter/spring in the rockies with family. The house is lovely and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for everyone. Beds are comfy! Minor hot water problem that was taken care of immediately. Wild Horse Gondola was so convenient. Also easy walking distance to Steamboat Square if you miss the last run back to the house. 5 minutes from downtown. We WILL be back!

We had an incredible stay at Wildhorse Retreat! The location truly couldn't be better. The home itself was thoughtfully designed with fun textures and top tier amenities. It's a very short walk to the community pool, restaurants, and community Gondola which made it so convenient for exploring the mountain area. Not only was it close to the slopes, but the grocery store was under 5 minutes away which was a blessing for us as we love to cook! The property was immaculate, with plenty of space, a cozy atmosphere, our family appreciated every moment. If you're looking for a hassle-free, prime location with everything you need right at your doorstep, this is the place to stay! We will definitely be back!

Perfect stay

The home is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as pictured. It had everything our family needed. We had three generations there for my 40th birthday celebration and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. The home was immaculate and very spacious, the beds comfortable (even the bunk beds, as reported by adults who slept on the bottom bunks), the balcony and outdoor fireplace are such a treat, and the hot tub on the roof is perfect for star gazing. The home was perfectly clean and well stocked. One suggestion for families is that if you’re bringing young kids to sleep in the bunks, I’d recommend bringing an audio monitor, as the main level is a few floors up, so the kids were a little nervous to be on their own and it was hard to hear them when sitting in the living room after bed time, and certainly if sleeping in the master bedroom. My only very small complaints are that the water didn’t get *quite* as hot as I would have liked and we could have used more towels. However I’m just being very picky at this point because our stay was fantastic.

Best Girls weekend ever!

Everyone of us had our own bedroom (what a treat!). The views, decor and the outside fireplace sitting area were divine. Steamboat Perfection!

We loved our stay at the Wildhorse Retreat! We didn't use all of the amenities, so we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and hot tub at the condo building. Next time! The house had plenty of room for everyone, comfy furniture and beds, great views from the private hot tub, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Being close to the Wildhorse gondola was an added perk. Stay here...you won't regret it!

Steamboat vacation

The house itself was very nice extrely clean and as advertised with a great location. There was a lack of hot water in the master bathroom that went unaddressed despite us notifying the mangagement company of the issue. At best you could get a warm shower in the master but certainly not a hot shower. The pillows throughout the house were well below the standard of the property otherwise. Overall a nice stay but certainly had some deficiencies that detracted from the experience.
