Tried to connect with expedia several times to modify reservation with no luck. Staff were super nice on site and if I had booked through them I wouldn’t have been locked on my stay. Ended up paying for a night I didn’t need. Book the hotel, just do it directly.

This location is a food desert. There are no restaurants in walking distance. If you don’t have a car the only transportation is a loop to the Gondola Transit Station. This is fine for skiing but service ends at 6:30 pm. From there you can transfer to the town line. You have to be careful not to miss the last bus not to get stranded. The staff was not helpful or friendly. The hot tub was dirty and not inviting. It might have seemed a good value but I should have spent more to stay at a more inviting location.

Staff was great, “breakfast”, not so much. For $250/night you’d think you’d get a decent cup of coffee. I have never tasted coffee as bad as the stuff they served here. I had to dump it out ( and I’m not too picky about coffee, not a coffee chain kind of guy). Also, the bagels didn’t even have a cream cheese or peanut butter offering. Just jam ( not even butter). Eggs were also be gross. But, room nice.

Pool and hot tub were small and overly chlorinated. One group of guys took over the hot tub especially with drinks and music and front desk said it was acceptable, unfortunately making it not family friendly. Breakfast was very low on food and coffee machine was dirty and coffee smelled like the machine was infected with something. Overall staff was friendly but wouldn't return to this hotel in the area.

Very nice staff. Seems like they rent rooms to workers. No daily cleaning of the room. Breakfast was tasteless…and stale. I wouldn’t stay here again. Common areas old fashioned.

Check-in Challenge
There was a challenge checking in. We had reserved a 2 Queen Bed room and the only room left was a King room. We ended up working it out with another guest who was checking in... then we were move to a different room the next day. The queen room on the first night was quite small. Front desk staff tried to make it work but it was hard for them, the problem seemed to be in communication from Hotels.com to them regarding the room type.

It was clean old and a bit outdated but clean, I just wish that the blackout curtains actually closed they were screwed into the ceiling and I couldn't slide them closed and I felt like people could see through my window

convenient, relatively low cost place in Steamboat. On the bus line. On a bike trail. Only issue we had was the snowmobile trailers that made it difficult to access the open parking spaces.

Unsafe and unexpected fees
The Quality Inn and Suites brand has been slipping and this hotel stay was proof. The door lock was broken, like actually broken, the room door didn't latch or lock. The solution by the front desk agent was to "just to take your bags with you when you leave the room" as this "happens often". So we ended up locking our items in the car. Also, the advertised pet rate for one dog is $25, but we were told it was $45 in person. The staff couldn't care less about being a Diamond choice rewards member.

We have stayed at a few different hotels in Steamboat. The Quality in was a very good value for the price. Breakfast was Biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs and sausage along with beverages and other breakfast items. I would recommend the Quality In if your looking for an inexpensive place to stay.

Staff was friendly. Room is definitely fine (although funny that there is the same picture on multiple walls. :) It was clean and well made up. Room walls are thin and people above us had TV on at 5 a.m. - there was no way to avoid hearing it at all. Breakfast was decent but coffee was awful - one of those machines that you can make a cup of instant that was mild, med, or dark. That is one significant change I would make in services offered! Overall fine place to stay for a night or two to access Steamboat.

Room was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator so if you're on the second floor you have to use stairs. There is very little parking with tons of huge construction trucks, dump trucks and semi's. I would stay here again.

A lot of construction workers staying at the hotel. TV next room started blasting at 4am and off at 5am which tells me that construction worker left to go to work. Morning breakfast- pancake/waffle machine empty, no forks, one last bagel available and it had mold on it.

Great stay! This was my second time here and they are very accomodating and friendly. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I do travel with my service dog and was appreciative having the door that opened up to the bike path for when I took him out. 5 stars! :)
