We all loved the cottage and it's location in Granchester, so near the meadows and easy walk/cycle to Cambridge Tess could not be more helpful, as we wanted to bring our bikes and was very flexible with our arrival/leave times (I know this might not be possible at busier times). "We booked a secret wedding in London and needed a place in the middle for our families to meet up. It catered for all of us! We had 2 children under 3, and 14 adults but it didn't seem cramped. Everybody was comfortable and content. Antoine was super responsive, and so was the young man who checked us in (I can't remember his name unfortunately!). "Very nice accommodation in a perfect location"

"Visiting Chingford (where I'm from) From New Zealand is a pain, so having somewhere comfortable in a good location helped a lot! Rebecca's house was lovely, spacious and comfortable - and Rebecca is an accommodating host! The location was perfect with easy access into central London, for those days when we didn't want to travel into central we were able to explore the beauty of Epping forest as it was on our doorstep! I highly recommend the property and we will most certainly be booking again...

"This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Little Barn. For ourselves this is a great place for the few night stays, to visit our daughter and partner in Cambridge. Verity is a great host, the fridge has all the essential items, plus some thought-out extras. All round excellent stay."

"The property is in need of decoration, and maybe a new front door ? For the price, we expected a lot better. Don’t like the idea of a security camera pointing right at you in the back garden (and I don’t believe it has anything to do with security) Paying a fee for a deep clean ? "It is a good place for a short stay. It seems some rooms are tiny. I got a small room which is only enough to put a double bed. My advice is to confirm the room size before you book. "

"Property owner double book property on other website offering same services (can’t name it cause it won’t let me submit a review) and try to make up some lies literally one hour before I suppose to be able to get into the flat to justify why property is no longer available. If you gonna look on reviews of this property on that other website this is not the first time property owner pulled such a move. Don’t book or he will likely stitch you up same way he did to me!"

"Property was ideal size and location was good. Under the impression i was able to park in the land next to the property but was told off by another resident. Was advised by owner there is on road parking- should have read this properly! Apartment smelt of cigarettes and cannot take smell out from clothes. Shower had mould around grouting of tiles and needs bringing up-to date. Mattress - springs broken and had a dip did not sleep much. Extractor needs a good clean can see grease on top. Need...

"Hot tub was out of service, with no warning. Kitchen sink was leaking, causing the floor to be constantly wet. Dirty kitchen with minimal cooking utensils. Broken shower. "

"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "
