Welcome to Keys to the Gorge, by Skooped Up Stays!

This modern cabin-style retreat is nestled near the Columbia River and offers tranquility, a private hot tub and sauna, and serene views. The spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home accommodates up to 12 guests, making it perfect for families, groups of friends, corporate retreats, and guests of nearby weddings.

We are here for you during your stay! With that said, we maintain office hours, and are typically not available between 9pm and 7am for things that are not emergencies. We will get back to you as soon as possible if you reach out during those hours.

If there is an emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately!

We are rather remote, but we do have quite a few neighbors nearby! Some you can see from our patio (and they can see you!), others are a bit farther away. You'll feel privacy, but a sense of remoteness at the same time. Please be respectful of our neighbors. This is a residential area and most neighbors live in their homes full-time.

As a guest of Keys to the Gorge, enjoy private access to the entire home and yard. The garage is not accessible by guests at this time.

Our driveway accommodates 3-6 vehicles.

Conveniently located just 15 minutes from Stevenson, 25 minutes from White Salmon/Hood River, and within one hour of wineries, Mt. Hood, Portland and Vancouver.

Keys to the Gorge sits on 1.3 acres, offering beautifully landscaped lawns, spacious deck, and fully covered side patio with grill and outdoor fireplace. The surroundings provide a tranquil setting, and the remote location ensures a quiet escape.

Den/TV Room: 1 queen bed inside Murphy bookshelf
Open Upstairs Loft: 1 queen sofa bed

Our driveway offers space for 3-6 vehicles. If your group anticipates more vehicles, please reach out to discuss additional on-site parking. Guests will need to have a vehicle to access the property. In winter months, AWD / 4x4 vehicles are necessary.

This is our home away from home, and it is our pleasure to share it with you!

Although we welcome as many as 12 guests, we have strict rules against parties or rowdy events. We ask that all of our guests review and agree to our House Rules, and treat our home with the utmost respect. If you have questions about whether your group is a good fit for our space, please reach out!

Before arrival, guests will be asked to complete guest verification through 3rd party provider, Truvi. This ensures we are up-to-date with short-term rental regulations and provides both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact the main guest via email and/or text to complete verification.

Guests are given the choice between a $500 refundable security deposit or a $35 non-refundable damage waiver. This is required prior to check-in.

Please note that refunds due to cancellation are subject to a 3.9% processing fee.
