“The location is convenient. Cooke City and SilverGate are both charming communities.
The cabin was not charming:
1. There is one, single, large pasta pot for cooking. That’s it. You’ve got to cook everything in that. What about a small saucepan? And a frying pan? That should really be bare minimum.
2. The cleaning wasn’t great. The sheets and towels all smelled mildewy, the rugs in the kitchen were badly stained and kind of gross, the dishes and silverware were dirty and needed washing, the……

“SMALL CABIN OVER RUN WITH WEEDS. NO SIGN SHOWING YOU WHERE TO TURN. JUST A SMALL DIRT DRIVEWAY WITHOUT ANY LIGHTS. IT WAS PITCH BLACK AND HARD TO FIND WHICH CABIN TO PARK AT. THE FLOOR INSIDE WAS UNEVEN. GOT SPLINTERS IN MY HAND FROM THE WOOD STEPS. BLINDS IN THE ROOM HAD GAPS IN IT THEY DIDNT CLOSE TIGHT. SHOULD OF HAD BLACKOUT CURTAINS. FOR SAFETY. IT WAS DECORATED REALLY CUTE AND CLEAN.”

“Great place to stay at Cooke City. Nice, clean cabin, exactly as advertised. Hot water and heating worked great. Regular updates and check-in reminders from the host, with easy to understand instructions for check-in. Kitchen was equipped with all the usual utensils and appliances.”

“Unfortunately when we arrived there was no electricity. Not in the cabin, or the towns of Silver Gate or Cooke City. It was 2.5 days before electricity was restored. We had to spend our money for a hotel. This hotel had a large generator that they ran from 6 pm until morning. There was no hot food, as restaurants did not have electricity. There was no cell service because of location. On the third day because the information from the electric company was "unknown" as to restoring power, it was……
