Schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage mit gutem, freundlichen Personal. Das Frühstück war gut, könnte aber etwas wechselnder sein, mal anderer Käse oder Wurst. Bei mehreren Tagen Aufenthalt etwas eintönig. Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

The hotel is quite old and a little dated in parts. However the room was very comfortable and quiet, looking into the little courtyard below. Location is superb - 100m from the station for the Arlanda express, bus and tram routes to all parts of Stockholm and beyond. Buffet breakfast was varied and superb, the Belgian restaurant has great food as well and the outdoor terrace is a lovely place to sit in the evening with one of dozens of powerful Belgian beers to enjoy. Staff universally friendly and helpful too - very happy with our stay, thanks!

Would not recommend. Everything was old, but not in a fun or historic way. Lots of throw pillows and curtains, which seemed dusty. No air-conditioning. Since the building is old, it’s difficult to get to your room and you have to take multiple doors with keys down winding hallways. The staff does not help you to your room with your luggage. The breakfast was pretty terrible and after the first morning, we ended up going out for breakfast, even though their breakfast was free. The location was nice! We would never stay here again though.

Nähe Centralstation, Schöne Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein Minuspunkt ist das Frühstück (nur das nötigste). Es ist alles sehr eng, das Essen ist sehr auseinander gestellt, so dass man nur Lauferei hat und sich die Gäste/ Service Personal gegenseitig behindern. Dieser Butterblock geht gar nicht, außer Geschmiere. Es gibt außerdem nur eine Kaffee Sorte ( Kaffee ist lauwarm). Die Scramble Eggs waren kalt. Obst muss man sich selbst aufschneiden bis auf Ananas und Wassermelone. Haben schon sehr viel besser gefrühstückt in anderen Hotels.

First visit to Stockholm So glad i chose the historic Freys hotel Ideally located for fast link to airport on Arlanda express train Excellent location for exploring Gamla Stan, historical attractions public transport, walks by the water. Shopping malls, restaurants and lots of little city gardens, for cooler shaded breaks. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. My room and facilities were clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. My breakfast was included and it was amazing with great choice, and although no real veiws in it's side street location, it was still pleasant to be able to choose to have an outside table. I purchased the little teddy bear (it's a nice touch that they place one in every room) as the money goes to charity 😊 I highly recommend Freys and hope to return in the future-- 5* in my opinion

Very centrally located. Reception staff were helpful with local advice. However, restaurant staff ignored me when I spilt my tea at breakfast so I had to clean it up myself. There was no instruction or communication to seat yourself at breakfast. Rooms at front of hotel are noisy at night. No air conditioning only a fan.
